First off, I had to stay here because of an unfortunate event with a bad taxi making my family miss our train. So at 11pm we were without a hotel and everywhere was full. The very helpful people working at the Melody Hotel travel staff put us on to here. It was a "family" room consisting of two double beds each in separate rooms. Staff seemed a little taken aback by foreigners at 11pm. They spoke simple English, enough to get checked in. Hotel is shaped like an "L". We were on the fifth floor and we noticed towels were all along the hall section in one direction while the other was our room. So it seemed some repair or cleaning was going on on half of the 5th floor. Room was typical chinese business decorum, faux plastic wooden everything. Reasonably roomy. Shower temp was a little fluctuating. But it was only 240 yuen for 4 people by my recollection so you get what you pay for. Okay for someone who doesn't care or is on a budget.
