Renmin Square is a beautiful complex of Accor Hotels (Mercure, Grand Mercure and Sofitel) with many dining options. This is the best option in terms of price/quality ratio in Xi'an. The Mercure is based on a big compound together with the Grand Mercure and the Sofitel. “In a peaceful spot in group of hotels”

We spent 2 nights here. The room was small but comfortable. They had free wifi in the room which should be standard everywhere. The breakfast was excellent and staff helpful. We enjoyed the fact that we could eat at the nearby hotels,had an excellent meal reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed for four days in May 2013. The Mercure chain is average in England, but this hotel was something special. We weren't expecting anything as good as this. “Lacks character, but still good”

The hotel was in a tourist square of 'western' style hotels. Manicured and remote from real China. The hotel was clean, efficient, but clinical and the staff remote. “Convenient location with friendly staff”

Share the same compound with Grand Mercure and Sofitel and it's quiet in the night. Convenient location within the town and within walking distance to shopping and City wall. Staff are friendly and helpful.

“Lovely central setting”

Great central city location in a quiet enclave with Accor Softel and Grand Mercure, with their facilities available to guests from the Mercure. Clean comfortable room with good service made the stay very pleasant. Walking distance to almost everything within the city walls. Would recommend and definitely stay again.
