We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and were truly satisfied with our choice. A nightly rate with breakfast was 66$ which was fantastic. The hotel is in the excellent location, close to the pedestrian area and some shopping malls (with supermarkets in the basement) on the left hand side.We walked late in the evening and that was Ok, safe.... I was pleasantly surprised by the Grand Soluxe. Lobby was your standard Chinese overly large marble and columns type. We had a king size bed and found the room to be spotless with most of the amenities we expect from a high end hotel. We spent two nights as part of a Sinorama tour group made up mostly of Canadians.... More

Excellent English speaking staff, spacious and extravagant rooms and hotel in general. A lady plays the grand piano in the hotel lobby every evening where guests can order drinks and eat desserts while watching and listening to her play. My partner and I ordered a tiramisu each but it had no alcohol, lovely otherwise. 1 min walk from bus and... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the Grand Soluxe. Lobby was your standard Chinese overly large marble and columns type. After a smooth check-in by an English speaking receptionist we were taken to our rooms by a bellhop who tried to sell us sightseeing tours. We had two rooms next to each other. Both rooms were quite large. My room contained... More

This hotel is near the railway station and buses for Terracotta Warriors (though not the bullet train station). It is 2 streets away from a subway station so very conveniently located. The rooms were large and reasonably priced with buffet breakfast and free wifi and wired internet provided. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.

Nice looking hotel, clean, good sized and well-appointed rooms, comfy bed, the sort of things you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately, there were a lot of "misses" on details you would expect a 5 star to get right. For example: no electrical outlet suitable for hairdryers/curling irons located next to a mirror (shaver only outlet in bathroom)... More

Beautiful luxurious hotel. Great location near xian main station. Buses leave here for the Warriors so no need for tour. Breakfast buffet average. There is no real bar area although lovely lounge area with grand piano and pianist for drinks and teas. Some English speaking staff but limited. Room excellent - business twin, although warm water not hot. Comfortable bedding.... More

This hotel is near the main railway station (for buses to the Terracotta Warriors) and about 200 metres north of a subway station on line 1 (Wulukou). One of the airport buses stops a block away. We had a spacious, quiet room facing the interior courtyard. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was a multicultural delight, with Asian... More

Stayed at the Grand Soluxe International Hotel Xi'An the 08 & 09 Sept. 2014. Very beautiful hotel, very clean, courteous staff, good food. Our room was large, very clean & well furnished. Our room had a separate bathtub & shower. No problems.

Feel very disappointed, was expecting a bit more than a nice looking room. Hard bed, no wine in restsurant or on menu, no restaurants open that are listed on their website, no lobby "bar", boring unhelpful staff. Shame it's my last night in china
