The stay of our group of 17 people at Hotel sunshine international was the worst have ever seen. The supposed to be 4 star rated hotel did not have any of the facilities it ought to have. The room airconditioner was not working. When asked, we were told to keep the windows open and sleep. The bathroom towels were all... more

The hotel is a decent, midrange establishment. It resides inside the old city walls and is close to several places of note. The walls in all rooms I saw had peeling wallpaper and the towels did not smell fresh. The hotel's dining was decent and a good taste of Northern China cuisine. We probably wouldn't stay here again, but not... more

This hotel was one of the weirdest places i've ever stayed. We stayed for 2 nights whilst we went to see the Terracota Warriors. The hotel is located quite a distance from the Belltower Area which its a bit more happening. We arrived after dark and went walkabout for some dinner. The restaurant choices in this area were poor with... more

Stayed on business to attend a conference. Overall a poor experience. The staff was unpleasant and unhelpful expect for one member of the housekeeping staff. I was locked out of my room for 30 minutes due to failure of the key reader in my door and the front desk was very slow to respond. The towels were paper thin and... more

We experienced a long delay at check-in when the staff could not locate our reservation and we were told that the rate would be much higher than quoted. Following a hasty call to our Chinese friend, they "found" the reservation at the price we were quoted. This hotel is located near the train station which seems to attact a certain... more

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights we had booked a superior suit on the 11th floor. In a nutshell, there was nothing even remotely good about this hotel. Even though it is less than 2 years old, poor management and staff have run it down very badly. We would recommend that you give this one a miss for... more

We had a standard suite - large bedroom, separate long with its own TV and washroom / toilette. What are we going to do with all this space? No cupboards or drawers so we laid our clothes out on the carpet. Walls are cracking behind the wallpaper and signs of water damages. 4 bottles of complimentary water, and an additional... more

Generally, the hotel offer clean and spacious room. Location is beside train station and hence need to watch out for our belongings. One word of advice, if you want a good sleep please disconnect your room telephone before go to sleep, otherwise you will receive calls asking for "extra-service". I complained to the front desk staff after the second night... more

Stayed here for only 1 night, but I can assure this is a top class hotel. Our rooms were booked through are travel agent. We got a suite room, including separate seating area. Everything seemed very recent and clean. Airco functions well and bathroom was spotless. Location is good : real close to the train station and a cheap ride... more

stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. the room was pretty ok but the carpet was little bit dirty. but overall clean. the insulation of the hotel was not quite good as we could hear tvs from other rooms. We got calls every night about 9pm asking if we required massage. we knew we would get the call very soon... more
