This hotel is fairly new, rooms are decent but the only reason to book this place is that it's close to the bus stop to go to the terracotta army (bus 306 -public transport- takes you directly there for 7CNY/or 14CHY r/t). Air conditioning was not working and rooms were simply freezing, it was not possible to do anything about... More

Good hotel with good room and comfy bed. Perfect location. We caught the airport bus which stops very close to the hotel. ( buy the ticket inside the airport terminal first. ) You drive past the hotel on the bus so can clearly see where to go although you will have to cross the road or negotiate an overpass with... The Xi'an Grand Soluxe was a nice comfortable Hotel. Wouldn't exactly call it five star, but four star at the most. Beds are comfortable with a hot shower. The bad points: Unfortunately nothing in the mini bar, They have a weird policy here: For any minibar items they advertise, you have to call housekeeping to buy the minibar item! There... More

Lovely room - well furnished and comfortable - linen crisp/ good quality. Bed too firm for my taste but my travel companion found it okay ( virtually all beds in China very firm) Staff fairly obliging (if you persist) when making enquiries at reception Didn't enjoy Room service food - poor/unappetising- probably a mistake to order from"western" choice food on... In all fairness, this review should have been written months and months ago. It was on my list of things to do! Though, I couldn’t let this one go. First impressions, clean and large and that’s about it. My memories sting, I can’t believe I chose a hotel based on stars and yet, I hadn’t heard of the hotel chain... More

We were coming into and leaving Xi'an by train so I wanted to stay somewhere close by. This place is basically across the street. There is a ton of hustle and bustle in between the hotel and the train station because it's also a bus hub, and all that activity is kind of fun, even though it's also really hectic.... More

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night to visit Terracotta Army. Travelled to and from Xian by overnight train and literally when we walked out of the station the hotel is a couple of hundred yards away. It also has easy access to the bus station which is where you get the bus to the Terracottas so the location is... More

We have stayed at this hotel in our short tour in China. The room was clean and appropriate for our needs. We particularly liked the hotel for its location. Well located for the train station, Bell tower, city centre, City wall, etc. Good value for money, satisfied with the stay.

Unfortunately, we've been delayed in writing this review from our (4 couples) visit in Oct,'14, but I wanted to still write this review because we were so pleasantly surprised. We stayed 3 nights, in our 18 day visit to China. This was the cheapest, cost wise, of all 4 hotels we stayed, and were a little concerned what we'd find.... More

I stayed here during a visit to Xi'an for two nights. The hotel is very close to the train station of Xi'an and within 5 minutes walk from the bus that goes to the terra cotta warrier museum. Downtown Xi'an is a 25 minute walk (Bell Tower), that can be done a bit quicker by taking the metro for 1... More
