The lobby is quite impressive, with a stone relief of Chinese Emperors outside in a small courtyard. The rooms were a good size and clean. The beds were hard like most Chinese hotels. We didn't have much time to explore the area. Breakfast was good - many choices with a good mix of Western and Chinese. The candied mellon was... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for two nights during our tour of China. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. We did not have dinner at this hotel, but the breakfast buffet was very good and had a wide variety of food. The room was very comfortable and came equipped with an easy to use safe which... More

We stayed two nights. An excellent hotel. The room is a good size, with a nice bathroom. Lots of hot water in the shower. The staff are good and helpful. An impressive hotel in a reasonable location. We had an enjoyable stay.

We were here for only one night while in Xi'an to see the Terra Cotta Warriors. When you walk into the hotel, you are confronted with a huge concrete wall mural of one of the Chinese Emperors. It is quite impressive and beautiful. The rooms are clean, but the beds are hard. It is common in Chinese hotels to just... More

A very clean place. The staff is getting out of their way to help and make your stay a good one. Management should make sure more staff has a good english knowledge. Like most hotels in China, people smoke any where and carpet don't get replaced as often as in most western hotels. the beds were clean and comfortable.

Hotel with a very impressive concrete wall mural (14 metre tall) of the first Qin Emperor as you walk behind the front desk to a small garden behind it. By the left of the emperor is Qin premier Li Si and on his right his great General Meng Tian...the high relief is designed by artist Cai Xia Meng recording the... More

We are shocked by the other solid reviews. Maybe we stayed in a different place, but I don't think so because the room pictures are the same. We had 2 double beds on 11th floor overlooking the now defunct tennis court. Double beds were 50% bigger than twin bed, which surprised us because we confirmed the actual bed size before... More

Stayed here 2 nights as part of a tour - one of the newer, nicer hotels where everything worked, felt clean and fresh. Huge soaker tub, all the toiletries, towels, bathrobes, slippers, mini bar etc etc etc...good breakfast, lots of choice, plentiful buffet that was busy and no disappointments here. Unexpected great night views of the city wall lit up!... More

This was the third hotel that we visited and by some margin the best. From the moment that our coach pulled up in front of the hotel we knew that it was special. We had had a terribly long journey by coach to reach Xi'an and were all tired, but from the moment we all walked into the entrance our... More

I stayed in this hotel early in May 2015. It was stage two of my Tour of China. I had arrived into Xian by the new ultra modern Bullet Train from Beijing West Station (six hours at 300Km/h). Xian Station is in impressive, but it has one flaw - it is a VERY long walk to the road for buses.... More
