This hotel was booked by our travel agent as part of a tour in China. The hotel was clean and had a great buffet breakfast. It took a little while to get used to the wall switches to control the lighting. The hotel keycard also acts as a power card to keep the lights on. There is a grocery supermarket... more

I stayed here as part of a Travelsphere Tour. It is a very good hotel with a nice lobby area. The rooms are good and I enjoyed my stay here. There is also some shops by the lobby area, one of which sells Terrocottta Warriors which we bought whilst staying here. Overall, a very good hotel. more

Stayed at the Xi'an hotel in October 2007 with my SO for 2 nights. We had a lovely and large (suite like) room on the 7th floor, paid approximately $60USD a night. The room appeared to have been newly renovated which was a relief given some of the other pictures posted on this site. We had a very large (though... more

We had a two night stay at this hotel during our trip to China and it was a very nice hotel and in a good location. The rooms were very modern and clean. The food was very good, but in this area of China they do tend to use chilli rather a lot! The hotel was in easy walking distance... more

We just return from an organised China tour covering Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai. While we stayed in 3 stars hotels in Beijing and Shanghai, we were told that the Xian Hotel was 4 stars and we looked forward to our stay there as the Beijing hotel was okay but definitely ordinary. The initial impressions were good. The lobby was suitably... more

This hotel is great! The rooms are lovely and have internet access. Restaurants are excellent and the shops in the hotel are very good and reasonably priced. Pool is supposed to be good, although I didn't venture down myself! Hotel opposite the theatre but not many shops within walking distance. Although a short taxi ride or energetic walker can find... more

We stayed here on an organised trip, first impressions were good, nicely lit up exterior at night, but they turn the lights off at about 11pm, strange. There are plenty of shops in the lobby, maybe a few too many. The rooms are a very good size, we had a twin room with 2 double beds, which were the hardest... more

This was our second hotel stay in our trip to China and quite frankly it was not a very good standard. There are a nice selection of shops and the lobby looks quite nice, but the food and rooms have a great room for improvement. Again the carpet in the room was very grubby the towels were grey instead of... more

This was a nice aging hotel a 20 minute walk from the city wall and 5 minutes from the exposition center. No pool, aging rooms, no internet access. Good basic accomodations without any added features. Xian in general is a must visit/see...much more than just the Terracotta warriors. more

Good stuff The Xian Hotel is located just outside the City Wall of Xian. It is well presented and the rooms are quite comfortably furnished. The bathrooms are very clean and the toiletries and towels are of a good standard. Breakfast which was included with our package deal was OK although the chef cooking the eggs on day 1appeared to... more
