Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in 3 different rooms as we were travelling in and out of Xi'an for our tour. No complaints, this hotel was better than what we were expecting from reading other reviews. The room on our first night was the best, when we had the adjoining rooms at the end of corridor which was... More

I have just read the glowing review you gave in our Guest Questionnaire, and I would like to personally thank you because of it. It is very nice to know that the friendliness of our staff impacted your stay so positively. I hope that the rest of stay in China goes well More

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night in October as part of a group tour of China so didn’t use all the facilities but found it to be friendly, spotless and central. Plenty of bars, restaurants, shops in immediate vicinity and about 20 minutes stroll to ancient walls. Large king-sized bedroom, a little tired in décor but spotless. Room facilities... More

Good size of room and plenty of not water but just a little tired. Breakfast was adequate with nothing to really complain about. It a short distance from the centre of town and typical of a touring hotel.

I stayed here one night and it's long enough. I was traveling through China with Smartours and they claim it's a five star hotel. It might be three stars. The rooms are standard and need and upgrade much like the rest of the hotel. The breakfast is not to my liking but that's subjective. They do have a great fitness... More

I stayed here as part of the Travelsphere 8 day tour in China. The hotel pretends to be grand and modern but it is dated and in need of refurbishment. The only strong point is the location as it is walking distance to the central part of the town. The breakfast is ok but nothing special. My room was old... More

The hotel is located in walking distance to the Bell and Drum Tower and the city wall and on bus routes to other attractions. The lobby and common areas are beautifully furnished and give an aura of comfort but the rooms have not been well maintained with worn carpets. The breakfast buffet is extensive but closer to the ending time,... More

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We come to Xi'an each year and have stayed at several different hotels. Sofar, we like this one the most. Like other reviewers commented on the location is excellent, close to many attractions. There is construction for the new subway going on outside, which hampers traffic going in from one direction, but... More

We stayed at the Grand Metropark Hotel Xi'an for couple of nights. This was our first trip to China. Though the hotel supposed to be a four star hotel, but the hotel had, a funny smell which you smell from older buildings. Room & bathroom were rather small. Beds were uncomfortable. Carpet in hallways outside rooms had stains. Worst part... More

This hotel is not a 5 star - more like a 3 star - dated, jaded and in need of a revamp. Staff ok and food very average. Good location though. Don't pay for stamps/franking as I did and my postcards never made it!
