Highly recommend the standard of friendly well-spoken English - whoever has trained them has done it in a very natural way - pleasant and very genuine. I would go back here for the pool, the upgrade on the rooms, the setting, and the amazing food - regrettably my husband put on 2kg but we can cope! more

Yes, this is a good hotel for a visit to Xian. The rooms are good, and the food at the breakfast and evening buffets is very nice. Pool was a little chilly, but the gym and sauna were quite nice. Good base for Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Terracotta Army (which is spectacular, by the way). more

Stayed here for two nights in 2008, as a base to see the Terracotta Warriors. Absolutely no complaints about the hotel or its staff. I agree, though, that its location is not ideal if you are not with a tour group. I can recommend the hotel's Chinese restaurant. more

This hotel is lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. Has two restaurants (One chinese and one western) which are both great and reasonably priced. They change the carpet in the lifts everyday with the days of the week on them which i was impressed with. The location is ok but taxis are so cheap that we never wandered around... more
