Cases were at the rooms direct from the airport. Room service was quick. Decent meals and snacks - both western and Chinese - were available in the large ground-floor restaurant. Our room overlooked the ancient city walls which were illuminated at night and the traffic was something to experience from the safety of the bedroom window! more

The hotel was very nice and clean. Our family booked a total of three rooms, and two of the three rooms had a spectacular view of the Xian City wall. Great location right beside city wall and shops. A little bit noisy at night with city sounds coming through the windows but over all a good hotel. more

We had a fabulous room here! It was enormous. Very clean and attractive. The decor of the rest of the hotel is a little bizarre. They really like mirrors. The staff was very nice and friendly. Great location. Right near the city wall and a short walk to the Bell Tower. more

Good hotel in good location, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Overlooks the city walls and has great views from the top floors. Good bedrooms and bathrooms. Clean rooms with all mod cons. Excellent buffet breakfast and dinner with free wine or beer with dinner. Good bar. Didn;t have too much trouble in making ourselves understood. more

We chose a HoJo because we thought there would be reliable English speakers. No one on the staff speaks English. The rooms have a speaker which filters in music from the hall, and you must ask to have it turned off. Our 17th floor room faced the city wall. We were awakened at 6 AM by blaring rock music.
