A very nice hotel with beautiful grounds. It is very quiet and relaxing and peaceful. The courtyards are gorgeous, with water features and statues throughout. It is within easy walking distance of the Wild Goose Pagoda and close to shops and restaurants. The room was nice. The breakfast wasn't anything special, but was adequate and tasty. And they did have... More

We are a family of five (parents plus three kids ages 7,6,1) and we wanted to visit Xi'an for a weekend. The hotel is very pretty. It truly has a Tang Dynasty feel to it. It's got multiple courtyards and it's just very calming. We had two rooms which both had patios that opened right into the first courtyard. The... More

This hotel has local flavor and furnishings, yet has western plumbing and amenities. It is in the middle of a beautiful park where you can walk out in the morning and see people doing all kinds of exercise and activities. On the other side is the Wild Goose Pagoda and a commercial area with restaurants and a huge water light... More

A lovely place to stay in Xian and very peaceful and tranquil gardens to relax in after a hectic day touring. The rooms are have traditional Chinese furnishings and are comfortable with free in room wi-fi. Breakfast choice is adequate but limited, but this should not detract from this charming hotel and the friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended for... More

This hotel was so beautiful and peaceful. So glad we went walking around the park it was in at 6:30AM and watched all the people enjoying their exercises and music. I would have like to spend more time walking around the area. The beds and rooms were very comfortable. so much personality. One note, the shopping center near bye was... More

If you like Chinese arts and history, you will love this hotel. It is located next door to the famous Wild Goose Pagoda and also very close to the musical fountain. You can easily find lots of restaurants and gift shops surrounding the hotel. Some great reports precede this and can't say much more, although we enjoyed the water/light show which was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and enjoyed xi'an too! Do walk the city wall. We got upgrade to loft room which was excellent with 2 storey space and nice upstairs bedroom.

This small luxury hotel has simply the best location, although you can't really get there other than by taxi. Xi'an city is building a metro station 4-5 minutes north from the hotel, but it won't be ready in 2014. Situated meters from the Daynan Pagoda, the hotel is part of a huge city park that has fountains, shops, music. During... More

Anyone who doesn't like this hotel, doesn't have a soul. My wife and I found this is a quiet resting place in marvellous traditional setting which backs onto the marvellous Tang Dynasty Theme Park. The rooms are romantically decorated and it feels as though you are staying in a museum in a positive sense. The western breakfast isn't great, but... More

Well placed for a walk around the Wild Goose Pagoda and the new public spaces that are suitable for an evening stroll and include restaurants, street vendors, an open fountain area where there are nightly light shows, etc. Not far from a large mall. Away from the city center. The hotel grounds themselves are quite peaceful, a series of courtyards... More
