This hotel is different from most you're ever come across. Just 2 floors in beautiful grounds with small waterfalls pools and statues and small pagodas everywhere. Quite stunning. We had a suite, with two very good size rooms tastefully decorated. Xi'an was the most beautiful Chinese city we visited, really beautiful considering its size. The hotel is close to a... More

I like to stay at boutique hotels, and this fits the bill. Sometimes this means character over a truly luxury experience, and this is the case with Tang Dynasty. I'm glad I stayed here, though: the bathroom had the most interesting wooden tub and lovely dragon-motif sink. Set up very much in the traditional Chinese way, there was artwork throughout... More

We stayed here for 5 days, where the ancient culture of China lingers amidst a surging modernization of the surrounding city. You can explore a wide range of world class sights from here by using taxi, high speed train, metro and bus, then return by evening to exquisite refuge that feels like an extension of the temple housing the Big... The hotel is located in a very nice area, nearby the great pagoda. The surprise came when we entered the hotel with its multiple beautiful courtyards... Rooms are big and comfortable (and clean) although a bit noisy if it opens on the outside pedestrian street...

After coming from a stay in a courtyard hotel in a hutong in Beijing which didn't focus so much on luxury but rather in location and great service, we were initially very impressed when we arrived at this hotel. Arriving at night, the surrounding area looked very pretty, we could see the Giant White Goose Pagoda and the courtyard area... More

We stayed two nights at the Tang Dynasty for the sole purpose of seeing the warriors. The location is excellent in that it is part of the old town and easy to walk around the interesting square where the locals parade, do Tai Chi & the men fly their kites. It's also picturesque and near the pagoda. The room had... More

This Hotel was a real find. Our stay here was a real treat. The rooms could not have been better. We would definitely return. Our Tour Guild was invited for tea and was very happy that the hotel was so nice.

This hotel is in the heart of Xi'an and provides easy access to the Wild Goose Pagoda and the park. Great gardens within the complex including ponds and fish and a good breakfast arrangement. Staff were very accommodating and friendly, although English a bit sparing. Room was very good.

A lovely real chinese place to stay. A real garden, close to the Wild Goose Pagoda and Tang Paradise cultural theme park. Rooms around the garden, heavenly. Good kitchen. Menu on iPad, waiters have translation app's on their iPhone which gives funny communciation. Almost absolute no English or other language is spoken. Has certainly a charm.

Great location for the Big Goose Pagoda (of Tripitaka fame) as it sits a the base of it so great view as soon as you come out of your room. It is a single story complex and as we were travelling in December we did notice our room was a little draughty. It has the parks and restaurants all around... More
