We stayed two nights at the Tang Dynasty for the sole purpose of seeing the warriors. The location is excellent in that it is part of the old town and easy to walk around the interesting square where the locals parade, do Tai Chi & the men fly their kites. It's also picturesque and near the pagoda. The room had... More

This Hotel was a real find. Our stay here was a real treat. The rooms could not have been better. We would definitely return. Our Tour Guild was invited for tea and was very happy that the hotel was so nice.

This hotel is in the heart of Xi'an and provides easy access to the Wild Goose Pagoda and the park. Great gardens within the complex including ponds and fish and a good breakfast arrangement. Staff were very accommodating and friendly, although English a bit sparing. Room was very good.

A lovely real chinese place to stay. A real garden, close to the Wild Goose Pagoda and Tang Paradise cultural theme park. Rooms around the garden, heavenly. Good kitchen. Menu on iPad, waiters have translation app's on their iPhone which gives funny communciation. Almost absolute no English or other language is spoken. Has certainly a charm.

Great location for the Big Goose Pagoda (of Tripitaka fame) as it sits a the base of it so great view as soon as you come out of your room. It is a single story complex and as we were travelling in December we did notice our room was a little draughty. It has the parks and restaurants all around... More

Many others have commented on this property. I’ll add a few comments at the end of this. However, as many people come to Xi’an to see the Terra Cotta Warriors, I thought I’d let future guests know how to get from this hotel to there using public transportation. It’s easy, actually, and very inexpensive. In fact, round trip per person... More

Perfect location near the pagoda. Plenty to see and do in the immediate vicinity. Easy journey on efficient and clean local bus service to the city centre. We would definitely stay here again. Bear in mind that breakfasts are not designed for westerners. Rooms and courtyards are delightful.

We were stunned by the beauty surroundings. Our room opens up to the courtyard with cranes in the gold fish ponds. The decor and furnishing in the room are very beautiful. The bathroom has modern facilities. The hotel staff are very helpful and eager to please. We got a complimentary small basket of fruit every afternoon and bottled water. The... More

A very nice hotel with beautiful grounds. It is very quiet and relaxing and peaceful. The courtyards are gorgeous, with water features and statues throughout. It is within easy walking distance of the Wild Goose Pagoda and close to shops and restaurants. The room was nice. The breakfast wasn't anything special, but was adequate and tasty. And they did have... More

We are a family of five (parents plus three kids ages 7,6,1) and we wanted to visit Xi'an for a weekend. The hotel is very pretty. It truly has a Tang Dynasty feel to it. It's got multiple courtyards and it's just very calming. We had two rooms which both had patios that opened right into the first courtyard. The... More
