The Tang Dynasty Art Garden is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in a lot of nice hotels. The grounds are spectacular, and the location-literally in the shadow of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Ci'en Temple- only adds to the pleasure of staying here. Sure, the wooden soaking tub is a little... More

Really a good suggestion to have the taste of fine Chinese arts and tourism. Very good price and quality even Chinese style. Do not aspect to have continental breakfast, but one of the best cappuccino.Breakfast is with Chinese style. I suggest for all, family and friends.

Very nice area surrounding the hotel. Rooms are very nice and cosy (cold & wet ) when we stayed. Disappointed with breakfast, hot food served cold, not ready in restaurant at 7am (opening time) & our meal had to be rushed as tour guide waiting. Rooms are well equipped, lots of toiletries, slippers, gowns, computer English tv channel. Gardens beautiful... More

All the room numbers start with 8, which is an auspicious number in Chinese. And you'd be lucky to have a chance to stay at this beautifully constructed compound with courtyards, fountains, pagodas, staff in traditional dress, even entertainment by a Chinese classical ensemble in the evenings. The location, while outside of Xi'an's ancient walls, is superb as it is... More

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in January in this hotel and enjoyed the room as well as the experience of staying in an old style Chinese building. The hotel is well located right in the middle of a bustling (yet quiet in the room) shopping and eating area. There are many restaurants, attractions and malls well within... More

This is possibly the prettiest hotel in all of China. Located centrally and beside a colourful night market, it is a one-story, courtyard-style hotel offering comfortable and classy rooms, dining and amenities. We stayed only on night and wished we had more time to linger in Xian. Room not large, but our friends were upgraded to a suite which was... More

One living room with sofa and computer desk with speakers and flatscreen. One bedroom with a bathroom with toilet and shower and... More

We spent three nights in this hotel, which fashion after a traditional Chinese noble complex, the room itself is just average, but it more than make up itself with it's lovely atmosphere and ambiance, its delightful just walk pass courtyards and garden to your room after a full day of sightseeing. Location is also superior, with many interesting sites nearby,... More

Lovely hotel in a great location. The property is beautifully maintained with ponds of goldfish, plantings, gazebos, walkways, etc. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was hard but we slept well. Our room had a wooden soaking tub, but we would have rather had a plain shower, because we had to stand in the tub to shower. Breakfast... More
