Where Xi'an City is full of smog, we came to stay at this resort because it is close to a mountain area, air is fresh and the hot springs recommended by a friend. The cost is 5 star but the hot springs after the day trippers leave are worth it (you get access after 6pm if you stay there). The... More

Xi'an was an 18 hour layover en route to Japan so we decided to make the most of this trip by staying close and visiting the Terracotta Warriors. Huaqing Aegean International Resort was a great experience. Staff were friendly and service was great. English was not spoken by all staff but those that made sure we had what we needed.... More

We spend one night in lotus villa which has three bed rooms and has a priviate hot spring pool. The villia is quite big. But the decration of room is a little old and it need to be re-decoration. A waiter can help to prepare for private hot spring pool at any time. we have tried it in the mid-night... More

We stopped here after visiting Terracotta Warrior. It was the best experience ever!!!! This is like a high end Chinese clientele only hot spring experience. Not so sure about the rooms. Everything is provided!! We changed into our swim suits and walked through the shower area (girls, get your hair tie here as you don't want to get your hair... More

This property was perfectly located for our excursion to see the Terra Cotta Warriors.. We sidestepped staying in busy downtown Xi'an, and stayed nice and close (7 minutes away) and were able to beat the crowds in the morning! The property is large and marble and beautiful with an awesome lobby fountain and a great breakfast !! We dined on... More

We had some issues getting funds from the ATM in China. We tried to get an advance on our credit card put on our room charge that the hotel eventually did but it took an hour of talking to do it. Thanks to a new Bell Man Choeng Lee ( or 'Kevin' who's English was much better than he thinks... More

Turned up at 5:30 and was taken to our room of which had heavy construction outside. We immediately called and complained about the noise and asked for another room. We had to wait 45 minutes and the replacement room was horrible. Downsized instead of a king sized bed they put two singles together. I said that it wasn't good enough... More

Although the Hotel is slightly tired internally, this will be resolved in the autumn, when a brand new hotel opens on the same site. The staff were friendly and helpful although little English is spoken. There is a good restaurant on site with the menu in pictures. The reason to stay there though is the closeness to The Terracotta Museum.... More
