Only stayed here one night before our cruise on Li River. Hotel is comfortable and clean. Not located in the centre of the city but we had a car and driver so it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was very simple. Many tour groups stay here. To get wifi in room, you must request from front desk. They will install a... More

From its appearance we were expecting better of this hotel. A bit far from the main attractions of Guilin so we had to take taxis. Beds very hard and the worst breakfast of any hotel we stayed in during our 25 day tour of China. No cereals or milk were available at all. Glad we only had two nights here.

I had stayed at Guilin Plaza Hotel on business, but this is the first time that I stayed here for leisure. My friends and I spent tow night here, of course, because I had recommended it. I was very happy they were also satisfied with it. We all think the location is very good, near Seven Star Park, the cinema,... More

This is an average Chinese hotel with very few Western customers and mainly Asian tour groups. We had no say as it was our Tour hotel. Location is a 10-15 minute taxi ride to city centre (15-20CNY) so not very convenient if you want to walk anywhere. Hotel is very dated judging from the Lobby area and rooms/bathroom have been... Myself & my wife stayed in Plaza Hotel, Guilin China for two nights in September 2013. Indeed a nice hotel with well decorated double bed room and toilet. Modern facilities were there and it seemed the hotel is newly built or renovated. Buffet breakfast was nice and I favored the special red date yougart. Behavior of the hotel staffs was... More

But the most terrible thing is the tour agency in the lobby of the hotel and that belongs to the hotel (apparently). They organised two tours for us: they are very expensive and do not deliver what they promised. we had to pay for a tour conducted totally in chinese, with so called english interpreter but they were not able... Perfect location and outstanding room standard. Very friendly staff. At reception good English language skills. At breakfast Westerners are segregated from Chinese guests and receive a poor service with very limited food selection. The situation was perceived like in Apartheid time or before 1950 in the US. Very sad! The same we experienced in Yangshuo Leisure Inn Hotel. Completely different... More

No luxury to expect here but for that price room is still in very good shape and absolutly OK to stay in here for a night rest. Hotel is of course only for night rest nothing additional to expect. But in Guilin you anyway not for the hotel. 15 min walk into city centre taxi easy to get as well... More

Although the room was fine (clean and quit) it was frustrating to get room service or really anything that required communication with those involved. The restaraunts food was fine, and as long as I could point to what I wanted. I did not encounter any staff that could speak any English. Maybe that is expecting to much being that this... More

The hotel staff do not speak English and the service is very poor. The continental breakfast is just ok and the moneys worth. It is not centrally located and away from the Indian restaurant. The bed n pillows are very hard and we had a difficult time.
