Stayed here for two nights as part of a Wendy Wu tour. The hotel was in a good location, near good shops and the night market too. The room was a good size and had everything that I needed. The staff were friendly and polite.

Excellent location for exploring the town of Guilin, overlooks the river but also close to shops restaurants and bars. Rooms were fine with the typical Chinese hard mattress which seem to be the main complaint from people touring China.

Although this hotel was perfectly nice and the room was clean I didn't really enjoy my stay here. Firstly as far as i'm aware I was the only non Chinese tourist at the hotel, this is possibly because I was staying during the Spring Festival when the Chinese typically go on holiday. This hotel is next to the river, which was safe to walk along at night. This hotel has river facing hotels, once again large, spacious rooms, hard beds, but you are in China. This hotel is also next to large shopping malls, and some nice coffee shops, which was a nice change to Chinese style food. Breakfast was okay.

Fairly clean hotel very close to the Li River. Big lobby and wide lifts for going up and down the rooms.Lighting along the pathway to the rooms need improvement as I think not bright enough.Some staff speak good English and very cooperative. Hotel was clean, roms were small and adequately furnished, hallways were dark and musty breakfast buffett offered both western and Chinese breakfasts, great location near shopping and lake. Our room had a nice view of Guilin's scenic mountains.

If you get a room on the riverside there is a lovely outlook, if not, you will be looking (and overlooked) by the rear of blocks of flats - not very appealing.
