Stayed at the Bravo Hotel in Guilin for two nights, mid-way through a tour of China. Arrived in Guilin late in the evening on a delayed flight from Chengdu and headed straight for the hotel restaurant. The room was quite tired but adequate and overlooked the hotel swimming pool. Breakfast was plentiful. Beautiful setting on a lake with a few... more

We spent a night in this hotel during our China tour. The hotel and the room were nice enough, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. But what really made this hotel stand out was the surrounding area. There is a small lake right next to the hotel that gets beautifully lit at night. The hotel is also a... more

We encountered an awful smell when we entered the hallway to our room. Fortunately, the room did not smell and so we stayed as it was only for one night. more

Guilin being very touristy I guess you get less for your money, and this hotel was not quite up to the same standard as the previous 4 star hotels we had been staying at in China. It felt a bit worn out. However it has a really nice pool. The rooms had everything you need but were not particularly big.... more

Stayed on the top floor so had a balcony. Air conditioning had to be set at 16-18 in order to get really cool. The safe was a handy feature. For breakfast you could get eggs cooked to order and one morning there were hard-boiled eggs as well. During an afternoon break from touring, went to the pool which was refreshing.... more

The location is great, but the hotelreally needs some improvements. Our room looked really old, no view and bathroom in non-optimal conditions. The A/C was quite noisy. The electric panel where you put the room key was broken and had to be repaired. Breakfast was not great but you could eat enough. I'd try to find a better hotel in... more

We stayed in the hotel for one weekend sightseeing in Guilin. We didn't expect too much but have been positivly surprised. The staff speaks good English and are friendly and helpful. They have limited capacity for rooms with double beds, but after asking they instandly moved the twin beds together. We organised all tours over the hotel and it worked... more

The rooms could use some updating and are nothing special, but our room was functional and we enjoyed ourselves here. The pool was great, as it was really hot when we were there. The breakfast buffets were plentiful with western and Chinese food, although the food quality was just average. more
