This is a very typical, average Chinese 3-star hotel used mainly for tour groups. The rooms are a standard size with a small bathroom and very firm beds. There was a slight smell of smoke. There was a little bit of a view to the river and some of the mountains. You can only use the swimming pool if you... More

We had a brief overnight stay in this hotel on our way to the Li River. Good, modern hotel with all the facilities. The only problem encountered was with the air conditioning, which had difficulty coping with the high temperature outside, so the room became quite hot,

This hotel is located in city center by the river, the overall experience was very good. The hotel Staff has been great, during my stay in Guilin somebody stole my wallet and the staff helped me a lot. The night shift assistant manger came with me to the police station for doing the report, the day shift assistant manager let... More

This hotel is well located next to a picturesque lake and park which is nice for a walk in the daytime and at night when it is lit-up. It is quite close to the centre of Guilin for shopping. Our room overlooked the lake and was huge and unlike other reviews we didn't think it smelt.. It had everything we... More

The location is nice near the lake, city center and shopping. Rooms rather large, clean but some smell problems though. The breakfast was very crowded, hard to find place, food average. We also had one dinner in one of the restaurants and it was good. The hotel has a nice outdoor pool area, rather small and very popular though. The... More

While I agree with lots of other reviews the rooms smelt damp I thought that this was small issue in the scheme of things. We left the aircon on during the day and the room wasn't as bad. We were on the top floor and had a nice little balcony. Wifi was good and the staff were very friendly. The... More

Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The hotel staff is friendly and English speaking. You can use the services of a local travel agency (note most tours in Chinese) in the hotel which is an advantage especially when you spend only a couple of days in Guilin. Great location - very close to the lake and close to the main... More

My wife and I were perfectly happy with the well-situated Guilin Bravo Hotel. The reception area is pleasant and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The food was good. Trip Advisor doesn't provide for "Good" ratings, only "Average" or Very Good". This hotel falls between the two. It was absolutely fine for our short stay.

This is a standard business hotel with little personality, but we must have stayed in the newer portion because I felt the rooms were quite nice, with shiny, clean bathrooms. One of the rooms we stayed in was a corner room and huge. The breakfast buffet is divided into two sections: Western and Chinese, which is really inconvenient if your... More

This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel (always as part of a tour or official visit where I don't choose the hotels), and it hasn't changed very much. It is still in a very good location (near walking trails, the waterway, local restaurants, the night market, etc.), but it hasn't been updated in ages, and it shows.... More
