Stayed here for a night. The location was good. The room we stayed was quite clean, comfortable with decent space. The bathrooms were also good. Their Breakfast had lot of Chinese dishes and few breads. There were few Live counters for Eggs and Rice Noodles. Breakfast was a very different experience. Staff in the Restaurant could not even understand very... More

We (me and my wife) travel in 2013, the hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are very good, really comfortable. The location is perfect to walk from here to nice points of the city. From here we travel to Yangshuo (a must do in this visit). The neighborhood is quiet and nice. The people from the hotel were... More

Good location - next to a river. Our room had hard beds and was dated. My advice is to book a non-smoking room if you don't smoke because there was a very bad smell in the room. The hotel has a large outdoor pool. It was nice.

The best thing about the hotel was the setting - the hotel is very picturesque at night as the roofline is decorated with lights. The interior and rooms were very dated and needed to be renovated. The hotel rooms are very spread out and it required some walking to get to our room. The breakfast was included, but was not... More

Cons first - there's not many really! Beds very hard (as usual in China) but unfortunately pillows were too. The hotel was lit up in red at night and there was a little box with spare underwear & a condom (to purchase) in the room! Me & my fella found it very amusing, but I guess some might be offended.... A great location on the edge of the lake. Stayed in room 362 overlooking both the lake and the hotel swimming pool (unfortunately only opens from June until winter). A warning, the beds could have been imported from Pompeii, they are rock solid. The the bathroom is a little strange, being contained in a glass compartment. Although there is a... More

Away from the centre of town so eating out not easy, especially having to walk in the high humidity. Poor internet, hard beds, and an average breakfast . However, the river lit up at night is very attractive. The hotel looks its age and has the style of a time under communism.

Guilin Park hotel is in a beautiful quiet location on the side of a Tree line hill, next to a lake with great walking paths all around and to the city along the lake/river bank. Fantastic at night when its all lit up. 10 to 25min walk to shops, restaurants and city center/mall. The hotel is attractive from the outside... More

The only thing to like about the hotel is the view of the water-side illuminations as you drive or walk in. Getting to our room involved a long walk down corridors which smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Once in the room, it was dark and quite simply uninviting. Towels in the bathroom were so thin to be of little use.... More
