Staff proactiveness in arranging car hire and tours.Particularly, Michelle, Ana and Zhang Tian. Written communication was excellent and provided insights to my decision making of selection of tours and options. They all spoke good English and were very helpful. Miss Jiang, the lady boss, also chipped in and was most helpful. Hotel was located near Zhongshan Lu, Elephant Scenic Area.... More

We stayed two nights in a traditional Chinese room. The room is beautifully furnished and is comfortable but it is cold, colder than it is outside. It is warm when you get into bed and there is lots of hot water in the bathroom but the room is cold and could do with heating in winter. The welcome from the staff... More

Comfortable and charming. Rooms were not the most modern, but very comfortable. Fell on a wet sidewalk and one of the staff walked three blocks in the rain to fetch some ice. Located across the street from the Peach Blossom River and the Lake. At night retirees gather at a pavilion on the waterside and play (and sing) traditional Chinese... More

We stayed with another couple and found that the rooms were decorated different, both were nice if you like traditional Chinese style. One night seemed to be too short as we could spend much more time enjoying the displays and antiques in the museum and in the common areas. We took lunch at the restaurant located at the top floor.... More

I am not sure when the others really stayed at this hotel, but it does have an elevator now. As you face the desk, take a left. In the hall, take a right and the next right. It is there. It is very, very small. And, it does look new. We found the hotel to be very pleasant. The staff... More

We stayed for 2 nights in this lovely hotel. It is centrally located on the Rong Hu. The room was comfortable and clean. We did have a problem with the hot water on the first night but the staff were prompt in attending to the issue without any inconvenience to us. We did not eat in the hotel as we... More

This was called the Jing Guan Ming Museum Hotel because it is a museum! Every floor has beautiful artwork or sculptures and the museum is opened each night for one hour for free. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Thru the trees you could see one of the lakes in Guilin. A spectacular view is available from the restaurant... More
