Large rooms, nicely decorated. Bed was good, water pressure and temperature good. Lots of art work in rooms and halls. Staff where helpful, friendly and good English. Excellent value for the money spent. Location very convenient. Arranged taxi to airport for flat fee, driver actually tracked me down in airport to return my smart phone!

I am not sure when the others really stayed at this hotel, but it does have an elevator now. As you face the desk, take a left. In the hall, take a right and the next right. It is there. It is very, very small. And, it does look new. We found the hotel to be very pleasant. The staff... More

We stayed for 2 nights in this lovely hotel. It is centrally located on the Rong Hu. The room was comfortable and clean. We did have a problem with the hot water on the first night but the staff were prompt in attending to the issue without any inconvenience to us. We did not eat in the hotel as we... More

This was called the Jing Guan Ming Museum Hotel because it is a museum! Every floor has beautiful artwork or sculptures and the museum is opened each night for one hour for free. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Thru the trees you could see one of the lakes in Guilin. A spectacular view is available from the restaurant... More

In mid September I spent three busy days seeing the sights around Guilin, and enjoyed it. Our hotel I class as a Boutique hotel as it is small with less than forty rooms, a private family owned and operated business. The staff at reception all speak English off varying quality with m/s Michelle near perfect, having studied English in Australia.... More

I booked hotel based on ratings. Location was good, and design was very nice too. Service was also OK, although morning checkout guy did not speak english. Somehow, I feel I pay too much for the Hotel, at least for my expectation in Guilin.

Let me say in seven days in China this was by far the best hotel I stayed in. The receptionists spoke very good English were helpful and organised. The views from the restaurant were post card worthy. The location by the lake provides a tranquillity and serenity rarely found. I found the room spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable... More

This hotel is on the bank of lake Rong, and at a walking distance from the centre and the pagodas. The rooms are lovely and beautifully decorated, actually the all hotel is and we personally loved it. The only thing I would not suggest is the breakfast, you have to get a voucher at reception for 45RMB and we thought... More

Confusingly also known as Museum Hotel. A real find, with staff speaking good English, set beside the picturesque landscaped lake on the edge of downtown of Guilin. The hotel features a museum inside it, along with activities such as cooking lessons. We stayed only one night, arriving quite late in the evening. The restaurant, on the top floor with views... Quite spacious and clean rooms. I was looking for something truly Chinese and I found. Staff really helpful, they can organize river cruise and any other trip you need in good prices. Ask hotel also to get airport tranfer for you. Taxi drivers don't speak English and you can be surprised with the bill and extra costs. If you decide... More
