This hotel is located in a lively part of town, unfortunately, we only had an overnight stay as the main purpose of visiting Guilin was to take a Li River cruise. After seeing the town as we passed through it, I think we should have stayed longer. As we only stayed at the hotel for 10 hours overnight it is... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way back from Yangshuo. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The front desk offered tour packages in the city with reasonable price, although we took to wandering the city on my own. The hallways and interiors are unique in decorum and the rooms very clean. We looked... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights at this quaint, lovely hotel (Aug 9-11, 2014). The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was a good size and we had a view of the lake. We really liked the decor of the hotel. Across the street was the lake with a beautiful walking trail. The hotel is able to... More

Great location for a 1-3 day stay in Guilin. The lake at your doorstep, all the sites in walking distance, nice restaurants and shops around the corner. Staff at the front desk speak English well enough to help you with all your questions. Just be very firm when booking a tour that you don't want to visit shows or stores... More

We stayed here for four nights over the May day holiday. The hotel is small and cleverly decorated. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, good showers and free internet. The desk staff are friendly and speak English. They are very willing to help you plan your day trips, recommend restaurants and help with anything else you need. Breakfast is... More

This hotel is small and local. It is perfectly situated for the lakes and for the "action" on pedestrian street. It is very reasonably priced, the facilities are good and it is interesting with its museum origins and artefacts spread around it premises. The girls on reception speak very good English, are very helpful and will organise your trips and... More

This is a nice reliable hotel suitable for western guests (as well as Chinese). It is little bit warn out and beds are a bit hard (not like real Chinese but harder than western beds), location is handy, 10min walk from pedestrian street. Priced bit high and always busy.

Loved this hotel! Front desk gals were always helpful and kind, They all seemed to speak good English. Location was fantastic, short walk to nightly market, and directly across street to lake. View from room was great. I was on third floor, and room was quiet, clean and spacious. Shower water took a little while to get hot, but not... More

During our vacation, we were able to stay here a couple different nights as our jumping off place. The front desk and breakfast staff were both very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms had a nice Chinese feel to the decor and the rest of the hotel had some beautiful... More
