We went as 4 Australian couples, predominantly to play golf over 4 days, before a more sightseeing 2 weeks in Xian, Beijing and Shanghai. This entire complex is quite amazing, being a "European village" in China! Fascinating place for the Chinese, who flock there at holiday time, but having experienced Europe, we found more an "unusual' experience. This is probably... More

I stayed at this hotel, which is located in a small European village at the outskirt of Guangzhou. The free transfer, accommodation and breakfast were provided by CZ as part of their commitment of transforming Guangzhou airport into a major international hub for air travel. Initially, I was told that, I had to share my room with a stranger (perhaps... More

According to the hotel brochure, this is the best 5* hotel resort in South China and where the stars in the Asian Olympics stayed. It sure is a magnificent place! Set outside and away from the city yet accessible by car in about 1hr, it is surrounded by lakes where you can swim/boat/canoe/pedalo and the scenery is stunning. The town... More

This was our first visit to China and I can honestly say that we will be back. As others have said it is a 30 minute free transfer bus service to and from the airport. On arrival we were amazed at the complex we found, having driven through some pretty poor looking streets. There is a floodlit golf course, outdoor... More

If you have never been to Europe or have been in China so long you miss something European this a good place for a relaxing escape. Authentic?Maybe not, but its nice to walk peacefully on a pedestrian street without massive crowds or a have to move around in a jam packed metro. Of course the hotel is pricey and I... More

Service was not very professional. Arrived late to check in and got placed in a room that already had guests in it. You can imagine the scene when I swiped open the door and two men were sitting in there looking at me in shock. Then I had to walk all the way back to reception, they changed the room... More

I was told (AS ADVERTISED) this hotel has a FREE shuttle to the airport. When I checked in late in the night and asked about the morning shuttle to the airport I was told since my flight is early I would have to pay $350 RMB. Keep in mind the airport is only 30 minutes away. I had paid 400... More

This is a European style resort hotel. Consequently it is a quirky mix of what Chinese people might believe a European resort is like and Chinese culture. Because it is not a business hotel the reception staff do not speak English and the business facilites are limited and expensive. As a European visitor I enjoyed the strange mix of cultures.... Hotel staff are nice and friendly. We went for swimming there is a pool with fish that bite you dead skin. Hotel provide free shuttle to airport which is quiet convenient. Also there is free bus run between hotel and Dragon lake. It is a pity that the day we go was too windy so we can't raw a boat.
