First stay was May 2008. Easy overnight for 9 hr overnight layover. Great b'fast buffet of Chinese selection (porridge, noodles and buns) alongside western cuisine (eggs, breads and meats). If transiting or in Guangzhou on business, Novotel at Baiyun airport is a great choice. Brand new, super clean, quiet, good pool and you can walk to the airport (or take their little shuttle bus). This hotel is great if you're in transit through Guangzhou Baiyun airport. It's a few minutes walk from the terminal building. Unfortunately the pool is outside and not heated so in dcecember the water is COLD. more
