Recently stayed at this hotel and can highly recommend it. The staff are first class and English speaking, wonderful room and the comfiest bed ever!! Great location in the heart of old guangzhou , hotel very relaxing to get back to after the hustle and bustle!! Overall AAAAA first class

Still our favorite hotel in Asia. Arrived in after a 28 hour odyssey from Europe and the beds were FABULOUS!!! The breakfast buffet made up for the bland food of the previous 2 weeks and was so good, when we woke up late afternoon, we then had the seafood buffet as well.

Have to say that my fourth visit to the Guangzhou Shifu in May 2013 for Canton Fair was just as good as my last. The staffs are very nice and helpful. Rooms are very spacious and sleeping very comfy.
