This hotel receives 3/5 stars. The hotel staff does barely speaks English which is an issue of it prides itself as being an international hotel. The location of the hotel is right next to the train station but because it is on the other side of the rails, you must walk about a mile and a half to the east... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Reception team don't speak very good English for the European traveller and they insist on not closing the reception door so not only is reception cold, but due to the location of the lobby bar and lobby restaurant, so are they. Bar and restaurant staff don't speak good English. Food for the breakfast buffet is... More

Stayed at the Hotel for the Canton fair. Service is acceptable and the breakfast is passable by western standards. A shuttle bus is provided to the fair at frequent intervals and journey time is about 20 minutes. Rooms are clean and large. Internet works in the room but is slow. The Railway station to Hong Kong is very close about... More

Went there during a business trip for the Canton Fair last October. The rooms are decent and spacious, the breakfast is a mixed bag, but the buffet at night (Fish food open buffet) is excellent. The problem is the location. For tourists and newcomers, it's hard to travel around, as taxis rarely come by, but for those who are a... More

the hotel is a typical Chinese hotel that becomes worse over the years. Location is good behind Guangzhou East Railway Station but getting there from the station with a suitcase is a big hassle crossing a highway and rather long walk. Rooms are smelly of smoke as always and the highway noise and view is simply annoying. Much better hotels... More

After staying at a hotel in Shangqui the previous night, I can only say how pleased I was to arrive in Guangzhou and to find this hotel. The room is large, very clean and has great wifi connection which is important for me. The chinese restaurant at the hotel serves delicious food but Id suggest you don't order from the... More
