If you think of this property as the absolute best two star hotel where you've ever stayed, you won't be disappointed. When you think of the type of accommodation which is available stateside in the $80 US per night range and then compare with the Jianguo Hotel, you will understand why I say this is an exceptional choice. If you... More

Poor staff, look and talk like robots, we used to international 5 stars but one must admit that the standards are so low in China, the room is ok, decoration is ok, the room does not smell good, we arrived tired late in the evening and the way the welcome us was poor. It is like everything in China, it... More

Stayed here for 1 night this March 2014. At the first time, I was doubtful with the quality of the 5 stars hotel with Local Chain (Not International Brand). I've bad experience with other the Local 5 stars Hotels. I decided to book this hotel after reading reviews from various travel site. Upon arrival, the reviews are right. It is... More

Stayed here for a few times already. Location Always enjoy its location - it is right across the Guangzhou East train station - super convenient if you need to catch a train. The Guangzhou East train station is also a main subway station, which means you can go to any other subway stations easily. Another thing I like about its... More

Very decent hotel in Guangzhou. Right next to Guangzhou East Railway station (which is where you arrive if coming from HK). Rooms are fairly modern although could do with a bit more looking after. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location for the business district although some of the more touristy bits are a taxi/metro ride away.

The hotel is very conveniently located a quick 5 minute walk from the East Train Station. The rooms are fine, although really more 4 star than 5 star. The room service was fine, but the buffets offered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are WAY overpriced. The hotel decor is okay, but not great. The biggest drawback is the bed: apparently... More

Whoever travel to China will agree that the Chinese stars doesn't mean the same that in the west. This "five star hotel" is truly a four stars according to western standards. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the place is bad, just don't expect too much, actually for what you pay is absolutely fair.

Reached the lobby by taxi and the bell boy saw me struggling with my luggages from the trunk and offered his help immediately. Checked in almost midnight and they got us into the room in no time. Very polite front desk and smooth procedure. The room is in great condition but the bed is pretty hard for us to sleep... More

Booked this hotel last minute for a really good deal. Under $75.00 for the night, it is right across the street from Train station. Next to Ikea and a shopping mall. The room is very average. The Good: - Great Price - Free WiFi - The Spa was good priced for a hotel spa. Over all this is a budget... More

The hotel is lovely, clean, and in a great location. The rooms are a good size and they have bathtubs. The staff overall speaks very good English and are very helpful. The breakfast is pretty good and the WiFi was excellent. They are located very near the train and subway so transportation is convenient. There is a great western grocery... More
