I had to stay in the hotel for almost a week and it was dreadful. the room was dirty, the screens used to be white probably 10 years ago and the bed was as hard as a wooden board. the sink and shower are full of staines and fungus, the aircon outlet black and filled with dust and that black... I was booked into this hotel by business connections as I was visiting their factory in the area. The room was more spacious than what I had in Hong Kong and in the surface was clean and a bit dated. I wasn't fussed about the level of wear and tear I noticed in the bathroom as that really sums up... More

I stayed at this hotel due to the distance of daily commuting from Guangzhou. This hotel is more in line for business people and shipyard consultants. I would not use it for holidaying purposes. The reception is average but the staff were friendly. The rooms were very basic and the bed was too hard to get a good night's sleep... More

Have visited the hotel 3 times and have always been pleased with their service. The complimentary breakfast is quite sumptuous but could do with a little more variance. Can get crowded on week days and the service has become slower than the last two visits. Also suggest that their internet speed could do with an upgrade. On the whole a... More

I have travelled around the world for more than 25 years and I cannot say I have experienced a hotel as crummy as this. Mos hotels have some redeeming feature I am hard pressed to find one here. Ok on the positive side the reception is nice and airy and clean with helpfull staff. The rooms are a bit dated... More

Room was very specious and clean. There was good wifi and fast connection available. Room service likes to have a rummage though your belongings so I would recommend locking all your things back in your suitcase with a padlock. The rooftop dining had tasty options and breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. The room service food was dreadful... More

This Hotel looks good on the website but in reality the rooms are very dated. The reception staff and concierge speak good English and are very helpful The restaurant on the 28th Floor offers an extensive range of breakfast offerings but most is for Chinese, not a lot of choice for Westerners. The rooms are on the small size. The... More

This is an absolutely nasty hotel . I really cannot say anything good about it except the wireless worked fairly well and the shower had really hot water. The hot water was important to try to wash all the funk off myself after sleeping in the room. The pictures are very misleading. This IS NOT a nice business hotel. My... More

This was the second time I stayed at the hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. However there is hardly any place to store clothes. The bathrooms are large, clean and well maintained. The buffet breakfast is the same monotonous menu with almost no option for vegetarians. However they serve hot food for breakfast. The reception staff are pretty indifferent... More

Impressive building and facilities; staff always very helpful; rooms generally large, clean and well equipped. Standard mattresses are hard – the hotel claims it offers a choice of mattress but they rarely have a softer mattress available. The Western Restaurant offers a good buffet breakfast and options to have hot food cooked whilst you wait, e.g. omelette. In the evening,... More
