This is a hotel for businessmen and Chinese bus tours. I originally booked the hotel to be closer to Beijing Lu, but after seeing the usual fare these days of polyester teenage clothing and plastic handbags on the way there (if not being bombarded by handbag salesmen 4 times in 10 minutes), I decided this wasn't my place to be.... Check in and check out staff are very efficient and have good command of English but others struggle with the English language even the Concierge staff. Staff were very helpful despite having difficulty with the English language. Room is tidy, cleaned and made up everyday and toilet amenities are adequate. No bathtub but I did not expect one. The place... More

Hotel is clean and beautiful and the reception staff speak a little English, but they are very cooperative The first day they put me in a room for smokers because of the lack of rooms Did not feel comfortable and I could not sleep well the Then they transferred me to a good room in the 25th Floor The room... Been here for a week and felt very comfortable with the Queen size bed, computer in the room and a very nice view. The hotel is very closed to the night market/ walking street and MRT which you can easily access to the center and shopping area. Only speaking English staffs should be better to assist multinational guests. I will... More

The room we had was spacious and clean. We had 2 queen size beds which could easily accommodate 3 or 4. Hotel staff are also friendly and courteous. Walking distance (about 100m) to MRT (Gongyuangian) located at Mayflower Plaza which can give you easy accessibility and connection to major areas, even to the International airport (which cost only RMB 7... Terrible doesn't even begin to describe this hotel. The only good things are the location, and the elevator girls who always have a smile on their face. The food is a disaster, the coffee without a doubt the worse I have tasted in China - this is assuming the coffee machine works, which is doesn't 50% of the time. You... More

It was a business trip for me at Hotel Canton in Guangzhou.... sweetly located at the busiest Beijing Lou street.....(stone throw away distance). How to reach - take a cab from the CAN airport (for non Cantonese speaking people, please be sure to have this written in Cantonese so that the cab driver can understand, else you may end up... More

Let me start with the good - The rooms were very clean and the housekeeper was fantastic. Thats were the good stops. As a frequent stayer in hotels this has to be the worst, let me explain why in dot points to make it easy. - This hotel employees a number of students over the Canton Fair (trade expo) to... More

My first impression inside of the hotel is the hotel is kind of old. It is very convenient located near many markets, shops and even 7/11. There is a safe inside my room, which is always very important when you are traveling to any foreign country. The WiFi was decent, the cleanness of the room is decent. This is not... More
