I am a regular flyer to Guangzhou and was very comfortable staying at Holiday Inn but unfortunately it went under renovation and then i discovered this hotel i am very much satisfied staying here in respect to all the things. As a foreigner, we are always skeptical about the food and other facilities but here the breakfast spread is so... More

My wife and I stayed there for 4 nights recently - booked thru ctrip.com; very impressed by its cleanliness, excellent service, good location and great value. Although there is no complimentary shuttle from Baiyun Airport, one may take the airport shuttle coach for only RMB19, compared to ~80-100 RMB by taxi. It stops at the Garden Hotel, on the other... Stayed here once and found that they have upgraded and renovated. Room are basic and clean. Some parts of toilet is mouldy. The towels were not fresh - like dry as expected, a bit damp still. Do not stay at floors above the hotel Karaoke Lounge - you will be entertained with loud noises from amateurs singers belting their hearts out... More

we recently enjoyed another stay at The Baiyun Hotel. This time I booked a business room it cost more money but not much difference to the superfine room. Although I did have a beside table. Maybe might have to try a deluxe room. Seriously we are out nearly all day working, but when you stay 9 nights a bit more... More

The hotel was conveniently located opposite the main Guangzhou railway station. My mum booked this hotel as it was recommended by her friends. Given a choice i wouldn't stay here again. For 2 females travelling in Guangzhou I definitely didn't feel safe staying here as there were many touters outside the hotel. And no taxis were able to turn in.... More

Hotel maybe not such new and sophisticated like Leeden Hotel but very good location, strong wifi and very helpful staff make this hotel very attractive in terms of price and quality. Fendi and lv and other famous brand shops located downstairs make your stay more interesting (for fashion victims:).

Stayed in this hotel in October/November, in general the hotel has all facilities, but it is old and not up-to-date. It is conveniently located, breakfast is OK, but not the service of a 5-star hotel.

Having stopped at The Garden Hotel opposite on a couple of occasions, we thought we'd give the Baiyun a go. It was a lot cheaper than the Garden and in reality you get what you pay for. We were offered an upgrade on check-in but I didn't really want to pay the extra as we weren't going to spend a... More

I stayed at the Baiyun (note: there are at least two hotels with the name Baiyun in Guangzhou) in central Guangzhou for business. The hotel is somewhat dated in its design and furnishings and does not compare well in terms of wow factor against other Chinese-owned hotels in Guangzhou. However, if you want to spend less than USD$200 per night... More
