This is actually my 3rd stay at the hotel within a period of one year. The main factor was ease of booking and the room rates are reasonable compared to other hotels in the vicinity. Since the main purpose to Madinah is for worshipping at the Prophet Mosque, star rating of the accommodation is secondary but distance to the Mosque... More

We stayed at Sofaraa Al Hudaa, In Madina, with my wife while we had gone for Umrah and Madina ziyara, we had a lovely stay and the staff were very good especially the receiption and the housekeeping on the 11th Floor. The hotel is about few minutes to Haram on the rear side. it is beside Hayyat International and in-front... More

Last week, we stayed in Sofaraa Al Huda for days. The hotel is small and nice. The room is neat. I think it's OK considering we spent a lot of time praying in Masjid Nabawi (within walking distance) and ziarah. It just takes us 10-minutes walking to Masjid Nabawi. However, go at least 45 minutes befor prayer's time as the... More

The service is very bad, breakfast start at 7am, which is ridiculous, where fajr is done by 5:30, most of the people want to go back to sleep after fajr, now you have to stay awake for the breakfast or order room service, when i called for room service, they said they cant do room service we have to wait... The hotel is excellently situated close to the Haram in Madinah and close to shops and places to eat etc. We came here after having spent a week in Makkah at an excellent hotel so our experiences were compared to the stay in Makkah and unfortunately Sofaraa needs some polishing. It is by no means poor but from the look... More

We went for Umrah in Madina, the travel agent recommended this hotel. It is a walking distance from the grand mosque in the middle of the shopping area. The rooms are spacious, clean with good supply of toiletries. The breakfast was a basic buffet that requires improvement . It is a functional hotel with good value for money.

A very flamboyant hotel and would pass as a 4 star and was impressed with the customer service and the helpfulness of the porters and cleaners. Very close to the masjid and to the women’s entrance and is about 3 minutes walk. You can hear the adhan clearly from your room. The rooms were nice but they were dilapidated and... More
