The hotel has N excellent location. Ideal for elderly people doing Omra or pilgrimage. The breakfast is fine and includes all possible varieties. The staff is friendly. East to move with taxis. Near to shopping and to food facilities. The wifi service is good but not available in all rooms. However, the signal is very strong in he lobby.

Stayed with my wife for a few days after performing hajj. It's practically inside Masjid al Nabwi and it never took us more than a few minutes from our room to get inside the great mosque. The hotel is a bit dated but comfortable. We tried their buffet breakfasts and dinners in the mezzanine restaurants that were great. The staff... More

I used to visit yhe hotel cafe weekly with friends but have stopped going now because of the incredibly slow service and poor standards. The waiters can be rude and at times have refused to serve us because they can't cope with the order! Sadly we have stopped going now due to the poor service..

Fifteen minutes before the Call to Prayer, even during Hajj season, I could leave my hotel room and be seated, even on a masjid-provided stool, on the carpeting in the Masjid Nabawi before the Call to Prayers. (Not possible in Makkah as they close the gates two HOURS before prayers during Hajj season.) The room was comfortable albeit a mite... More

The hotel is a 5 star but its up keep us not very well and the furniture is quiet old. The only plus point of this hotel is that it has the perfect location other than that it doesn't have quiet much to it. The rooms are old and haven't been upgraded for a long time The service is OK... More

One of the closest residences near Haram (Masjid Nabwi). We stayed at the Hotel for three nights at Room 306. A room with Haram view. I have been staying in other Hotels in Markazia (first row hotels right in front of Haram Gate) but Darul Taqwa was by far the best. Hotel is just a few paces away from Babul... More

This hotel is located right in front of one the main gates of Masjid Al Nabawi. As soon as you walk out of the lobby, you have entered the premises of the mosque. In general, clean and convenient hotel. Good restaurants within hotel. Staff very nice and friendly. Elevators are a little slow, and WiFi was terrible in our room... More
