I would love to give this hotel an average rating...but I can't. In town for a family reunion and tolerated this hotel for 2 nights. Too many instances to mention that weren't appealing. Here's just a few: Very loud music in the interior banquet room early in the morning (everyone doesn't wake up with the chickens!), continental breakfast ends at... More

Very large building can't miss it. Front desk was very friendly. Love all the new renovations they are doing to the place. Room was clean no complain there. Celestine did an outstanding job cleaning the room. Will stay here next time I'm in town.

We stayed here even before couple of years, what a change, they have done a lot of improvements. It could not be more pleasant, the staff satisfying, very nice, clean but most important very cheap. Deaf infinitely coming back.

I stayed overnight at the Ahoskie Inn and I noticed on my drive home I was scratching horrifically and when I got home I started searching my body and I had red bumps on the back of my arm my knuckles and on my hand I knew immediately the bumps were bed bug bites so I called the hotel asked... Stayed the the weekend of February 6th. My daughter and I left with some kind of bites on our arms, chest and face. Checked out at 1:46 in the morning after seeing a bug crawling on my tote bag which was on the desk. No one at the hotel has reached to me to apologize on behalf of the hotel,... More

The room she stayed was inspected by the hotel staff along with the health inspector, no bugs were found. The guest might have picked up some bugs outside of the hotel or it might have traveled along with them More

The title speaks for itself. There aren't any hotels close to Nucor Steel where our company does business. The closest hotel is in either Edenton, NC or Suffolk, VA. Both of these locations are at least an hour away. This hotel is very out of date as far places I'm used to staying. This place reminds me of a pay... More

We made improvements to the property during winter 2013, we have new furniture, large flat screen tv, Hi speed internet, etc... the shower head had been moved for our taller guests. Breakfast is continental muffins, bagels, cold cereals, waffles, fruits, juice and coffee The whole property was painted and is with new carpet, this year we already started on renovating... More

We gave it a try, worth the money. It is not an bad place to stay. Looks like old property might need improvement. Other than that its just fine for the money we paid. We had our school reunion in the ball room, things went fine

As with other reviews the check in was the first warning. We checked in to the loud television in the lobby, and we also felt like maybe we had disterbed the lady at the front desk. The room was dirty, roach trap located behind the nightstand. A/C did not work well at all (very old). I felt I would be... More
