I frankly do not understand why they call it a hostel. As other reviewers already said it is just a very small apartment, quite dirty. But the worst for me was that the owners always stayed at home - cooking in the kitchen, having a shower, walking the dog...I did not cook at all just because I could not find... More

We arrived early morning (4 am) and they didn't pick us up. They said we could get there in an hour, but you'd better not walk as it is about 1,5 hours away. We got a taxi (400R) to get to the place. There was a sign on the door! If you read the directions, you'll find it. We were... More

In fact this 'hostel' consists of one room in a small flat with 3 bunk beds and a couch. The mattresses aren't bad at all, wi-fi is available and there's a little old bathroom. Basic comfort, but for one night it's suffecient.

I stayed at Europe Asia for one night with my friend during our Trans-Mongolian journey. The place was very hard to find, and by that I really mean it was hard to find. We always find places fairly easy (we use either a map or GPS or both) but this was not the case with Europe Asia. When we arrived... More

Thankfully I was able to run away after 1 night. Squatting would be cleaner than this filthy dirty apartment. Firstly it is the size of a postage stamp. It felt like you needed to rent a skip and throw everything in including all the floor coverings and furniture. The kitchen was putrid with piles of dirty plates rotting in a... More

Like the last reviewer we were met by a man on the edge of the street who did not say a word all the way to the "hostel". We walked through dark passages and building sites until we finally came to a tower block that had "Europe Asia" spray painted on the wall! We got in a filthy lift that... More

This Hostel was so far out of central Ekaterinburg that we had to get a taxi. Once we arrived, a staff member came to meet us in the carpark of a block of flats. He told us that we wouldn't be staying in the building of the hostel and to follow him. We were feeling a bit wary at this... More

It took us over an hour of traipsing through the morning darkness, ice and snow asking whoever we could find at ridiculous o'clock to help interpret the vague directions we had to find the Europe Asia hostel, but we eventually found the place - on the 7th floor of a grotty grey towerblock about a 10 minute tramride out of...
