This is a place that reflects soviet history :terrible design and terrible service. We stayed here for 4 nights.The public areas of the hotel looked gloomy and dusty, with surly staff... The room itself was cramped , totally outdated and ugly but functional...at least, it served a purpose to sleep.There was a cable TV with 1 English channel(CNN). It was... more

We have just returned from a week at the Hotel Rostov (Gostinitsa Rostov). The hotel is nice and we had no problems. We stayed on the 4th f in the special comfort rooms . We were just expecting a few nibbles but breakfast was nice with continental ,Russian and other choices. We paid $160 per night for a room in... more
