We stayed in this hotel in early June with a travel group. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the downtown of Listvyanka. Despite that, the hotel is located in a nice/quiet surrounding, with only a short distance from the lake shore. We had great sunset view from the lake side by just walking a little bit out from... Liked staying at Krestovaya Pad for 3 reasons: they have a wonderful banya (a fun experience, a must for those visiting Russia), breakfast & food is generally good, and the room was very comfortable & clean.

Rooms are very small even by European standards, choice of 2 twins or 2 twins you push together. Shower is so small you can't bend over to pick up shampoo that you have to sit on the floor as there aren't any shelves. Not recommended for those with disabilities or problems with lifting or stairs. As you can see by... More

I had a terrific stay here, and so did my travel companion. My room was clean and cozy. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They even helped us arrange a private late night pickup once we arrived at the Irkutsk train station. I consider my food expectations to be normal, and I enjoyed every meal I had at their restaurant.... More

We were lucky to visit this hotel in the low season and were offered an upgrade on our room. The first two standard rooms which we viewed were very short on space with a limited view of Lake Baikal. Our upgrade was lovely with a balcony and great view over the village and lake. The service at reception on our... More

The hotel was good to stay, had good location, and had 3 - 4 separate building, kind of villa style property. The meal was good, staffs speaks little bit English. Please don't expect nice smile from staffs at the hotel when you're travelling in Irkutsk & Lake Baikal - I don't know about rest part of Russia. I mean staffs... More

Limited English from staff. Wait staff in restaurant totally uninspired, as is the food. Rooms are pretty good, but wifi did not reach my room. I had to use the lobby or café for internet access. it is about a 2 mile walk into the town, which is fine when weather is good. it snowed my first day here. Less... More

The good points first; It was clean The views were great The position is good, off the main road so quiet The breakfasts whilst slightly odd were very good, the porridge was excellent and the fried eggs were perfect, many top hotels can't get them as good. Hospitality tray and a fridge in the room, lots of free bottled water.... More

Location was good to check out Lake Baikal. Rooms were little wooden, Russian style cabins There was no internet in the rooms - you could only access this from the front reception Good breakfast selection Rooms were cold without a heater and there were issues with the hot water system and water pressure at times. Also staff do not speak... More

We were looking forward to a bright, relatively new establishment at Listvyanka after staying here 6 years previously at a rather 'Soviet establishment. It was OK but the rooms were on the small side. They are of wooden construction. Some light bulbs were blown. There is a lot of walking and no help for a group with luggage. The walking... More
