Long Check In, language troubles, no plugs at the working table, lousy noise protection to the street, tab water slightly yellow, room very clean, heating wasn't working proper, need general renovation, wlan in lobby free, breakfast ok, general prices are much too high

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your opinion on our hotel. I was disappointed to read that you did not have a particularly satisfying stay with us. I have passed on your comments with regards to the long waits at reception and will endeavour to find a solution to solve other issues you mentioned... More

we arrived here late at night having travelled all day from London to be 'greeted' by a receptionist who acted as if we had inconvenienced her by disturbing her evening. It took forever to get our room and she was pretty rude the room was nothing special - the padlocked minibar was a real highlight, and the breakfast buffet was... More

This is my second review of the hotel (first one was written in 2011) and would like to focus on changes in September 2013. Arriving experience: I arrived at night and there were no champagne anymore. A receptionist was a trainee. This was a reason that my checking process lasted much longer. She could not answer on my questions without... More

One the of the major things that annoy in a hotel - is Wifi that you have to pay for. It gets even worth if you have to pay a lot. I think that 400 RUR (that is ~13 US dollars) is too much for a one-day access, don't you? The hotel is located far from the city center, there's... More

Check in was quick and relatively friendly. Staff was helpful. I loved the bed! I do not remember the last time I slept so tight and felt so comfortable and relaxed. Breakfast was very good, too. Nothing to complain about, really. The hotel exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay there again.

The service is not as expected to be. I requested non-smoking room, when booked the hotel. Well, when checking in I found out that I will have to stay in a smoking room. And lady at the reception didn't ask if I mind or apologize for the inconvenience. I had to insist heavily to get the non-smoking room. At the... More

Large hotel, nice rooms, great lighting in bathroom, great view. A little worn, but serviceable. Breakfast items plentiful but not high quality. Food quality in outdoor restaurant was not good. Italian restaurant on 7th floor - very expensive. Would rather stay nearer city center next time so we could walk along the Volga embankment and enjoy local atmosphere. Good business... More

The hotel is not bad - rooms OK, nice breakfast, the location is quite far from the city centre but convenient for early going to the airport. Good conference facilities. Hotel's staff in the restaurant is vastly ineffective.

Had two nights at The Renaissance in Samara and can highly rate it. I don't speak Russian but every member of staff I spoke to did or spoke enough to get by - thank you! Rooms were standard stuff, breakfast was excellent and the hotel was very clean. Will definitely stay again when I revisit next month.
