Stayed in the hotel for 1 night during the recent trip to Kazan. It is located next to Gorki Park which worth a visit ( very pretty, nice dancing fountains with lights in the evening). The room was good size, the bed was very comfortable, big flat TV etc. Bathroom had an excellent shower but one of the celling covers... More

Kazan is great; hospitable people, safe streets, great food. The Korston isn't a bad choice but it is SO noisy, mostly through the regular influx of parties of ill-behaved young teenagers on school groups. The top floor restaurant is excellent, populated by wealthy Russian locals. Fabulous views. Just stay away from floor 24 (under the restaurant) and the school parties.

Korston is a very good hotel and I upgraded to a deluxe room ( 5500 pyp per night ) Take a room in the upper ( 8 and up), not only for the view but for the noise. Air conditioner was working, but was not strong enough. You can call the reception for cold water or ice and if very... More

Stayed only a couple of days but will be back for 3 weeks in July / August for the FINA World Swimming Championships. Comfortable and clean rooms, but as usual with most European hotels I have stayed in, it lacks a coffee machine. Breakfast is great with a lot of choices, and other meals in the main restaurant are fine.... More

Stayed here for 5 nights on business trip. The check-in was rather fast and smooth, receptionist was kind and efficient. Breakfast was included, which you can have either on the ground floor from about 7am to 17pm, buffet breakfast, or the 25th floor. Downstairs do not ask for a fresh omlet/scrambled from the cook who is there to make it,... More

Kazan is the capital of Tatarstan Republic in Russia, a multicultural city with more than 1000 years of history. Korston is a clean, efficient and reasonably priced hotel, that is located on a wide 8 lane road more than an easy walk , but short cab or bus ride from the cultural, entertainment, commercial and dining activity of the downtown.... Kazan, has some of the best hotel choices in all of Russia! The KORSTON Kazan is definitely one of the best. Not a "Western/International" Hotel- but still excellent facilities and fairly helpful staff. Rooms in the original building are huge and very comfortable with nice furnishings. Tower rooms have great views of city- but the new Tower rooms are much... More

Huge hotel with lots of free services. It was especially nice to have free ironing services. My suit pants were ironed for free within 15 minutes, and they never looked so good, even when I bought them! Also free phone calls. But somehow, even if room is non-smoking, some previous visitor did smoke there. This careless attitude to future visitors... More

I arrived at this hotel at about 1:00AM thanks to some flight delays, and after a long day we found check-in to be somewhat tedious. Despite the fact we were all pre-booked they still spent about 5 minutes looking for each booking, and then a further 5 or 10 mins taking copies of our passport, etc. My room was in... More
