Stayed here a while ago on a business trip. While not a 4 star hotel in US Standards, probably very high on the list in Bashkortostan. Has everything a westerner needs. Staff friendly and speak english. Clean hotel.

We booked a Business Double Accommodation with two beds at the Bashkortostan Hotel in Ufa. Costs: 7100 PYB. (142 euro) for one night. We made the reservation on the internet. We drove to the hotel and directly when we came at the location we saw fences in front of the hotel. Traffic everywhere, parking was nearly impossible. We spoke to... More

The hotel is clean and quite new. Wifi is free, the speed is tolerable, breakfast is rather poor. The reception area is very strange - it looks more like an entrance to a B-class office building. The gym is closed for renovation (Feb 2014) and stay so for the next year. It certainly isn't a 4-star hotel but given the... More

Before coming here, having read the previous reviews, I was actually quite worried about staying here, but my client booked it for me so I had no choice. I should not have worried. The Bashkortostan is a very nice hotel. My room was excellent, plenty of room, nice decor, extremely clean and tidy. For a business trip it is ideal,... More

The hotel is very bad for business travel. A lot of the staffs don't speak English, the restaurant food are awful. The room-service cannot charge it to the room, and you have to pay in a separate payment (this is insane). Hotel management, please don't call it room-service pls. The gym is awful. I will come back to this hotel... More

Hotel is very poor indeed. No wireless Internet or English tv channels despite the hotel's claims. Breakfast was revolting and for £180 it was very expensive. Staff try to help but they cannot make up for the fact that everything is done as cheaply as possible. Avoid unless you have no other option.

The room was small and cold. The hotel's architecture is a typical Soviet. But, it is clean, the breakfast is poor (don't forget invitation), and WIFI is free everywhere. It is expensive for what you get, but location is perfect

I've stayed twice now at the Bashkortostan. As other reviewers have noted, many of the rooms are quite small (although there is a selection of larger ones), and the hotel harkens back to the glories of 70's communist Intourist as regards basic design. However, it is clean, the breakfast is okay, the WIFI is free in the rooms as well... More
