One of the latest generation of hotels in Russia. It is fully up to western standards and has rooms with stunning views over the Volga. It is a slight disadvantage that it is a 20 minute (uphill) walk before you get to the sights of the town, but otherwise it is difficult to find fault. The staff are very helpful.

There are limited hotels in Nizhny and the Alexandrovsky Garden is in a good location to be able to walk to many of the sites to see in the city. It overlooks the Volga river and is in walking distance to a number of resturants. You can pre-book a taxi from the hotel to collect you from the airport which... More

Having been booked into this hotel by our company, I have to say it was a good choice. A little out of the way from the centre but then again it has lovely views of the river. Nice outside terrace for dinner but watch out for the flies after dark. The pitfall of a riverside location. Recommended business hotel

It was my 3rd visit to this hotel for the last 3 years. Every summer I come to Nizhniy Novgorod and book Alexandrovskiy garden hotel. What I like about it is always the same good level of quality. Rooms are enough big and very clean. Bathrobe and a bottle of water are provided. You can use small spa center in... More

The hotel is located a few kilometers away from central Nizhny, along the Volga river banks; just opposite the Ferry (crossing to Bor). The hotel building is quite new but the rooms are quite "old fashion" or very conservatively decorated. However it is all done with quality and attention to details. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Wifi is free... More

I was fortunate enough to have this hotel booked for me as accommodation during one leg of my Russian tour back in October of 2011. The front desk and restaurant staff are very friendly. Rooms are spacious with a very tranquil ambience (subdued color scheme and romantic lighting). Bathrooms are equally as spacious, very clean and well equipped with amenities.... More

Very nice hotel for business travelers. Rooms are clean and comfortable, specially if have the nice Volga view. Staff is very nice and friendly. Breakfast is very good, although restaurant is fairly small and you can hardly find anyone speaking English among the restaurant crew. The hotel is very quite and calm and internet connection is reliable. I was glad... More

This is your basic business hotel with a simple ambience and bland decor in the rooms. Felt very hot in the rooms while it was -2C outside - had to keep the window open to make it comfortable. Situated on the banks of the Volga river, makes for a great view in the evening time! The in-house restaurant had good... More

Rooms are too hot and you can not control heating. Window in my room was open all the time. If you have a river side room it means a lot of noise, cause there are the main road between hotel and river. Restaurant surprisingly good, but very slow service. Reception very nice :)
