If you travel from/to Helsinki by Allegro high speed train, Viking is excellent choise, especially if your train is so early as 7AM. We were en route from St. Petersburg to Finland and it was just one day to see such an interesting city like Vyborg, unfortunately. The hotel has a good location near the train station. But there was no any noise. Good reception. Clean room. Unpretentious bath. But acceptable. Breakfast (buffei) is included. You can leave your car at the train station parking area.

Great location next to the railway station. Decent quality hotel. Good value for money. Vyborg is a small town, so you can reach everything by foot. The location makes this my first choice among hotels in Vyborg.

Just one night was enough. We live in Russia, and travelling back from Finland i wanted to see Vyborg,as it seems to have a lot of history. Arriving outside,it looked ok,but it changed as we went in! The receptionist was sitting with mobile in one hand and not really interested in our checking in. The hotel smelt of smoking everywhere(quite typical... More

I had a terrible three nights in the Viking Hotel in August 2010. The other hotels in town were full so we ended up at the Viking, where I had only a couple of hours sleep per night thanks to: - the noise: The hotel is sandwiched between a busy road and a railway station, where there are loud tannoy...
