This b&b has probably the most attentive owner of all the ones we have visited. We stayed there last year (sorry Natalia for the late review) and have no complaints at all. The building across the street appeared to have some repairs going on so we were a bit hesitant about it at first sight, but once we stepped inside... more

We stayed at Assembly for 3 days in June. The rooms were small but clean and cozy and the location is excellent, close to many main attractions. The kitchen/living room is very nice and where breakfast is served. The breakfast is really good with many fresh Russian pastries that Natalia buys everyday. Everything in Assembly is very good but the... more

I am afraid I have to agree with other reviewers - this is one of the best B&B I have stayed at :-) The location is ideal, our room and the apartment were nice and clean, the breakfast excellent and varied, the price is right. But what makes it special is Natalia - it is so rare to find someone... more

Me and my friend were staying in St. Petersburg at this wonderful B&B. It is a fully equipped, very clean and nice decorated apartment not far away from Nevsky Prospekt (5min walk). Natalia prepared us some typical and very tasty Russian breakfast every morning, while telling us what there is to see in this nice city. It was a friendly... more

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in August, in the middle of a 3 week trip in Europe. We had an excellent stay in every respect. Everything was super clean, and well maintained. Natalia makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive, and she is extremely helpful in telling you where you should go, how... more

My husband and I stayed with Natalia in August/September for 5 days and she was an amazing host. She greets you with the customary tea and sweets on the table, hands you the map of St. Petersburg and let's you in on the first day sites to see (and some off-the-beaten path, too). As my husband doesn't speak Russian, talking... more

My wife and I stayed at B&B Assembly for five nights, and it was a great experience. Natalia was an excellent host; she helped us with directions to various places and even wrote out a few sentences in Russian to help us book a train to Moscow. That was very useful, because the woman at the ticket office didn't speak... more

If you are on a budget but still want to feel most comfortable staying in the very center of the city - this is the choice! Location is a blessing: maximum 15 minutes relaxed walk to virtually all the main St Petersburg attractions; half an hour to both Vasilyevsky island or Peter&Paul Fortress. You'll only have to use public transportation... more

Natalia is a wonderful hostess. She has lived in the USA for several years and can relate to an American's point of view or should I say she relates to a human point of view. In our three weeks in Europe, Natalia was our favorite hostess, very knowledgeable about St Petersburg down to the smallest detail, lovely breakfasts with a... more

I really enjoyed the open atmosphere. Despite the nice rooms there is a big living room and the kitchen attached, where I always had very nice breakfast after enjoying the nightlife of St. Petersburg. Strongly recommended. more
