Nice rooms, unintentionally visited during White Nights time of year in 2008 - rates were far less than comparable hotels anywhere else at that time of the year, and we were fortunate to get this room.
This is a clean well kept building of 4 stories in on Ulitsa Uralskaya on the way to Primorskaya which is then on the edge of the Vasiliy Island on the Baltic Sea. It is near a district that was being heavily upgraded as St Petersburg's areas across the river from Nevsky Prospekt have started to flourish and become healthy and new again. The area at the river near the University was particularly nice. The hotel help were very attentive and by now I would hope that the internet is available in all of the building ))).
Rooms were both clean and well lit and the service in the smallish restaurant onsite was excellent, as was the food. The onsite bar stayed open and it was enjoyable to watch Russia make it past Sweden to the semifinals of the EuroCup that year and...
