The Sabrina group of hotels/hostels in St. Petersberg has the worst management I have ever encountered in my travels around the world. On my trip in June, 2009, they practice bait-and-switch with hotels. When we arrived they said there was no room in the hotel we booked on line and moved us to another of their properties. They do not... more

Traveling as a group, we were really looking for a no-frills bead and breakfast place in St. Petersburg and B&B Sabrina fit the bill perfectly. The place is clean and tidy plus the people are very helpful, warm, friendly and kind. I cannot underscore warm, helpful, friendly and kind enough...On our way to St. Petersburg from Moscow, we got robbed... more

We booked into B&B Sabrina months before our trip but were informed two days before we left that we would be moved to another place - Hostel Sabrina - due to their doing some work on B&B Sabrina. This hostel was further away from the centre and we were charged the same price even though it appeared to be cheaper... more

We booked a quad room in July at the Hotel Sabrina because of its proximity to Nevsky Prospect and the Hermitage - it is very close indeed - and arranged a pickup from the station. We were taken to basically a backpacker hostel well out of the centre and were given a seven bed backpacker dorm for the four of... more

After the long train journey with smelly toilets, Hotel Sabrina was a haven and a delight. We were in a twin-share room with a double bed, and although not large, the room was very clean, homey, and well heated. Slippers and robes are provided. Dina, the matriarch of the place plies you with tea or coffee after every outing, and... more

We enjoyed our stay there a lot (and would recommend it) but want to point out the following: Firstly, Hotel Sabrina has various hotels throughout the city - we stayed not in the main site, but in a converted 3-bedroom flat near Isaac Cathedral; all very modern and with washing machine but there is no staff in case of queries... more

unfortunately for the nice people that work there, B&B sabrina was a big dissapointment. If i were to do it again? I would spend the extra 50euro on a proper hotel. (and im used to staying in hostels) 3 days without hot water, (one day without any water at all hot or cold) and having to fight for any kind... more

1. The location was fairly good. A short walk to Nevsky, and only 5 minutes from the Hermitage. Many restaurants and stores nearby. 2. This was a converted apartment. From the outside, it looked nice, but the stairwell was something only Dickens could have imagined. It was on the 5th floor, so there were a lot of stairs to climb... more

Hotel Sabrina was a great place for the 4 of us to rest up. We had two rooms. 2 adults in one room and 2 teens (brother & sis) in the other. There were larger rooms available that slept more people. The bathrooms down the hall worked out just fine; being small but clean. The employees that we encountered most... more

St. Petersburg is an expensive city when it comes to lodging. The thought of spending $300 or more for a single night for a room that would accomodate three people was staggering. We were there during White Nights...a busy time indeed. B&B Sabrina is centrally located so that walking to or taking the metro to most of the tourist sites... more
