Pushka Inn is literally one block from the Hermitage, and 3 blocks from Nevsky and Church on Spilled Blood. Couldn't be better located for exploring St. Petersburg's old city area. Lift really only holds one person, but it's there to get you and bags to the upper floors. It's a converted mansion with lots of history. Restaurant next door has... more

Stayed here for four nights at the end of September with a small group (25 people). Room was small but very adequate for what i needed. Twin bed, small closet, desk, chair, dresser. Very nice bathroom, very clean, with newer fixtures. Location was great, only about 2 blocks from the Hermitage, 3 blocks from Nevsky Prospket or Church on the... more

I couldn't have asked for a better hotel. The location is amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful. When travelling with a young child you need good hotels and this is one that I would highly reccommend. more

I am very glad that we chose the Pushka Inn for our first trip to Russia. You can't beat the location on the Moika canal, just a stone's throw from Palace Square. Also the staff was GREAT about answering my emails promptly, in English, & really helpful in arranging for visa vouchers, airport pickup and tours of Hermitage and Peterhoff.... more

you do need to be careful about which rooms you book. We had a "standard" room on the ground floor and it was miniscule; one side of the double bed had to be against the wall. The windows overlooked the parking lot which was quiet enough but the restaurant staff across the way took smoking breaks out there which meant... more

I spent five days at the Pushka Inn in October 2008. I could not have asked for a better hotel for my first trip to Russia. It's a charming old building overlooking the Moika River. You can't stay closer to the Hermitage - just around the corner from Winter Palace Square. The very friendly and helpful staff spoke excellent English.... more

Stayed at Puska Inn for three nights after getting a recommendation from a friend. It's a top little hotel with one of the best locations in town. Everything is within easy strolling distance, and lots of little restaraunts and bars close by. We had a standard room, which was perfect and everything in good working order. The staff are friendly... more

After a hideous stay in Moscow, we were delighted with Pushka Inn. The location is fantastic for sight-seeing. The rooms were clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. The staff was wonderful, and spoke excellent English. The restaurant was handy, but unremarkable. Make you reservation early....they are always booked. more
