We booked this hotel because of favourable reviews on Trip Advisor and it exceeded our expectations. The location was great, in a back, quiet courtyard, just a short walk to Nevskiy Prospect, St Isaac's Cathedral, or the Church on the Spilt Blood. The hotel staff were great, especially Irena who greeted us on our arrival at 3 am! Our comfort... More

Having booked our trip to St. Petersburg at the same time as the Economic Forum and the Day of the City, when most of the larger hotels were charging like a wounded bull for their accommodation, we wondered whether the Arkadia had rooms for a reason... how wrong were we! This beautiful designer hotel is located behind what used to... More

Clean and comfortable hotel located less than 10mns walk to Hermitage, St Isaac cathedral, Nevski Bld. Add 2 minutes to Youssoupov Palace. Superior room is huge with bathtub and shower in very clean bathroom. Beds are great after long walks through'out the city. No elevator. Good A/C Reception desk help for the extra obligatory visa (the one indicating your address... More

I stayed at the Arkadia hotel for 4 nights.I chose the Arkadia because it was reasonably priced , modern, had a great location and free wifi. Nice modern hotel located within walking distance to the historical centre of St. Petersburg . About 12 minute walk to nearest metro. Nice area, lots of restaurant/ bar choices within 10-15 minute walk. I... More

The man at the front desk always remembered my name, and I like that. Unfortunately I've forgotten his. The rest of the staff was very friendly and attentive as well, especially the patient waiter who took time to explain what everything was. Try the "bouquet of pickles" and no, I'm not kidding. My only complaint was the WiFi connection. The... More

Really liked it. Stayed in June_2013. Location is perfect: close walk to the Hermitage and really short walk to St. Isaac's Cathedral. Room was clean and nice; we had a plumbing problem – was fixed immediately. The restaurant was good (try Russian dumplings “pelmeni” for lunch/dinner - delicious). Michael at the front desk was great. Will definitely stay again

While booking I was worrying about my very first trip to Russia and staying in the hotel. However, my fears didn’t come true. My apartments were simple but comfort with king-size bed, tables, chairs and large bathroom. What is important, Arkadia hotel has remarkable location in the city center – it is close to everything. The personnel were very friendly... More
