Even if you book an executive room, dont expect too much. Some of the furniture seems to date back to Soviet times, with narrow uncomfortable beds, small showers. It can be noisy at times as there seems to be coach loads of kids staying sometimes( i ve stayed here 5-6 times) Breakfast seems to be less each visit too. I dont know what... More

Beds were uncomfortable, there was only one (!) iron for the whole hotel, breakfast was the one that I didn't dare to eat. Staff was unfriendly and rude and did little help with handling travel documents (I just needed hotel confirmation for my company reimbursement). The water was brown yellow at times Furthermore it had quite inconvenient location - far... More

Stayed at this hotel for three nights when we went to St Petersburg on our holiday. We found the area of the hotel safe and clean with cafes, exchange offices, and supermarkets within walking distance. The subway is about a 5-minute walk and a couple stations from Nevsky Prospekt, the main street in St Petersburg. The hotel itself is old... More

In this hotel you will have an authentic, if rather expensive, experience of a Soviet hotel. High prices, poor service, inadequate facilities. For 5000 rb plus greedy 150 rb registration fee you will have a tiny room with no place for luggage, worn out rug with big stains, antique Soviet era TV, a mattress with broken springs and a sink... Starting from the reception everything went well, they were polite and quick. Room was just as assume it to be, 2 nice rooms, only the view was to backyard, but I was not there to look out my window. Breakfast nice, you can find everything from buffe, rest is up to you, like it or dislike. If need of public... More

I've stayed here twice in the last two months and the hotel is pretty good (for a Russian hotel). The rooms are spacious and clean and the food is decent. The beds are comfortable and the linens are comparable to what I've seen in other European hotels. My only complaint is that the carpets are ancient, worn and stained. Either... More

Rossiya Hotel is a good 3* hotel. My room was clean and warm - and it was -20 outside. The hotel is located in a busy area of St Petersburg, close to the tube station so if you're going to use public transport this is a good choice. What I didn't like is that there was no Wi-Fi in my... More

I stayed there just because a conference we attended was held at the hotel conference centre. The hotel is located in a 15 min walk distance from the tube station but quite far from the tourist attractions, in a newer part of Stalin time district; there are several huge modern multi-flats buildings with a crowd rushing somewhere all the time.... After reading the reviews i was quite apprehensive about staying in the hotel. However, believe me its not that bad.Yes, the rooms are very small, beds are not so comfortable but its location & courteous staff (especially "Dilyaara" to helped immensely) makes up for all the other things.I stayed there for 7 nights and it has some best of the restaurants, pubs, malls just...
