A comfortable hotel near Nevsky prospective and close to a market (if you need to buy something from souvenir to food). The room was comfortable and clean. I suggest not the Dostojevski house but the market that is 300-400 meters from the hotel, the market is mainly a food market and you can understand much better many aspects of russian... More

Location pretty central. Was part of a package. Internet was slow in room, but better in the foyer. Everything worked in the room including the aircon which we left on as much as possible. Anti mosquito plug provided and worked. No plug in sink but "aerosol cap" worked again. Breakfast - usual Old Eastern European - like the hotel, so... More

We were booked here as part of a tour. I was surprised to see the room rates advertised as it did not seem like good value. The location is good, a few minutes walk of Nevsky Prospek however the interior is a little dated. The room was really functional, and having a supermarket below was handy. I would stay there... Negatives- No high speed Internet as claimed (unless you plug in???) No air con Mosquito city if you open a window TV does not work and is not flat panel or modern. Reception was reasonably good for assistance except their response to the Internet not working was "it will be in two months" and "if you plug in it will... More

Price does not justify hotel standard - very basic rooms, crowded breakfast area, front desk staff unhelpful, small foyer chaotic when groups checking in/out. Location is good but there are many hotels in same area. Unreliable internet access and needed new password everyday.

This is a good variant to stay if you need to place a group of people at a reasonable price - this hotel was designed to host groups of tourists, and mostly has twin rooms for 2 persons to stay in 1 room. Beds are more than modest, but you might ignore that if sleep was not your aim in... More

Excellent location in St. Pete I love the liocation where the hotel was. On the main drag and close to everything! I had problems in each floor plan, too confusing when you get out of teh elevators and you try to find your room. I was there for two days and I was always getting lost. The directions are VERY... We were very happy with this hotel! As it was our first trip to Russia, we weren't quite sure what to expect, but everything was good! Our room and bathroom were both scrupulously clean, and our bed was comfortable. Lucky for us (non-smokers), smoking had recently been banned in Russia, and we had no trouble therefore getting a non-smoking room.... More

The Hotel has his reception on ground floor, all other rooms are from the 5th floor up. If you see the reception you think that you are in a cosy small Hotel, the truth is that it's a Bunker like Building. Very basic furniture. My room faced the courtyard of the shopping center, the windows are fixed. The air recycling... More
