5* superb hotel, faultless service, food, facilities and helpfull. All this and when you go out the front door, everything you want to see is easy walking distance. Perfectly placed for your vacation. Why bother looking elsewhere. Absolutely outstanding, and that goes for the cakes!

Reception staff here are very helpful with information, bookings etc, and speak excellent English. We stayed here last year during the 'white nights'. The hotel is excellently located just across from St. Isaac's cathedral. I found the décor of the hotel very impressive. 6 hour waiting for check-in, 18m2 room with pre-1991 interior design - it's not that i was expecting for $500 hotel!! You should pay even for wifi - around 30$/24h!!! Never again. Corinthia Nevskij Palace is muuuuch better!!

Comfortable hotel in excellent location and once problems are got to senior management they are sorted . Good breakfast but an indifferent area for evening drinks. Would recommend Astoria for that.i would go again.
