Easy walk of 300 meters to Hermitage (spend at least 2 full days n the Hermitage). Cross over Palace Square to Nevsky Prospekt and enjoy cafes, restaurants, and shopping. Walk to Mikhailovsky Theater for incredible ballet. Walk to Savior of the Spilled Blood Cathedral with 1800's dome architecture. Very comfortable boutique hotel. Staff is helpful with visas and exit permits.

We chose this place as it was close to the Hermitage. Its also a short walk from Nevsky Prospekt and Spas na Kravi Church. Its a little difficult to locate initially but if you walk on the millionaya (to the left along the Hermitage) street you can see the small sign.Ring the bell and you will be let in. Wifi... More

This hotel is situated right in the center of the city. It takes 2 minutes to get to the Hermitage museum and Palace square. Close to everything. Plenty of cafés and restaurants in the area. It's small but clean and cosy hotel. Room was clean with comfy bed and nice bathroom. You can choose what do you want for you... More

I chose Fortecia Piter because of the combination of good price and location on one of the booking sites. We took two rooms, one for me and my husband and the other for my father-in-law. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right next to the Hermitage on the Milionnaya street, in the closest residential building. I'm quite familiar with the concept... More

Fortecia Piter is very centrally located - about a 5 minutes' walk from the Hermitage and Nevsky Prospekt, tucked into a quiet street (so you needn't worry about noise or an excess of tourists). Look out for the hotel's sign along the main street because the entrance is obscured from view. You need to buzz '3B' outside the gates to... More

My mom and I stayed here recently for five days while on our first visit to St Petersburg as well as our first visit to Russia. The hotel was perfect for us. We enjoyed everything from the cozy duvets and soft clean sheets to the hot, hot showers. The location is barely two blocks from the Hermitage and on a... More

A gem at the heart of St-Petersburg! The hotel is located in a small (gated) courtyard just a few meters from the canals and from the Hermitage Museum. The best possible location as everything is near by - Pavel & Piotr Fortress, Nevski, St. Isaac, the boat to get to Petergoff. The service was outstanding as well were the included... More

Fantastic location; less than a minutes walk to the Hermitage and close to many other sights in the historic heart of St Petersburg. The hotel is set within a small courtyard, rooms small but clean and nicely decorated, good breakfast served to suit your timings and very friendly & helpful staff who spoke English. We stayed four nights and will... More

This lovely boutique hotel is in a fantastic location right next to the Hermitage and walking distance to all the wonderful sights of St. Petersburg. Very nice, helpful staff. Some of the staff doesn't speak English but try to help as much as they can. Small rooms but charmingly decorated. Generous breakfast. Good price for location.
