My husband and I arrived and got our room at 11am. Around 15mins walk from Moscow train station. Room was clean, size was not huge but okay for us with two 24" luggages. Better request a lower level room if you carry heavy luggages... Bathroom was newly with stylish design, water pressure was great but the waterpipe was clogged up... Hotel is... More

The place: The boutique Hotel Martin has an exterior that is far from impressive (but I guess quite cool) and also hard to find if you don't already know what it looks like. The reception and bar areas are very tiny and right in front of our room. Our room (Room 1) on the other hand is spacious and very... More

This hotel has a great location, close to the Nevsky Prospekt and the Moskovsky Train station and the rooms are well rennovated and refurbished to a modern standard. One really cannot complain. There is a walk up some steps to get to the reception which might be difficult for those with a heavy bag but all in all it is... More

Stayed at Martin hotel for 5 days as a solo traveller. Clean rooms which appeared newly refurbished. Good location quite close to the train arriving from Moscow and about 2 minutes walk to the nearest metro on Nevsky Prospekt. One of the best things about Martin Hotel was the airport transfer - 1000 RUB to Pulkovo (even at 4am in... More

Every now and then you get the feeling of a hotel that started out well, and then lost its way. The Martin has that feeling. Someone hired a terrific designer, put together a great hotel, and then stopped paying attention. There are many reasons to recommend the Martin: it’s excellent value in a good location—off Nevskii Prospekt, around the corner... More

Travelling single for the first time to Russia to visit acquintances; it's not part of the daily life of the average European tourist. However, in August 2011, it was my turn. Calmed down from a first culture shock at Pulkovo Airport, I was driven to Martin Hotel in a random picked taxi with a fee of 4,000 RUB (100 €).... More

Martin hotel is a relatively new small hotel near Nevsky Prospekt and a metro station. It strongest asset is the friendly service, but the rooms are satisfactory and clean, although relatively small. The beds are fairly hard and don't have spring mattresses. On the other hand, the bathrooms are modern and comfortable. The TV has only Russian channels, but there... More

We enjoyed a very pleasant 4 night stay during May 2012 and were pleased with the central location of the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and willing to help and communicated well in English. Our room, number 6, was quiet and beautifully decorated and very comfortable for our purposes. Breafast - which was included in the affordable room rate... More

As owner and managing director of a young and starting international consulting company, I share the desire to have excellent stays in hotels when traveling. In 2011 we started a Russian company division in Saint-Petersburg and Martin was our first choice. A good choice, so it seemed later. The young hotel is by far the best in its price and... More

Such a calmed and beautiful place to stay, a charming hotel next to all the city monuments, but little hidden from all the noisy city center, which is perfect. Stands out the design, elegance and comfort from that place. The service was quite helpful and kind, the breakfast: delicious. Everything clean and full of options and services to make us... More
