Location is very good just 300 meters away from Nevsky prospect and Kazan cathedral. Reception is downstairs and rooms up to 4th floor what ment scary experience in a former Sovjet style elevator. Room was really hot and there was no safe and minibar. Bathroom was ok but shower corner already some rosted. Clean place but breakfast was one of... More

The mini hotel Maribelle is located 2mins walking to the Kazan Cathedral, that is right in the middle of Nevskij Prospekt,so it's perfect if you want to visit SP without wasting time in subway or bus. My room was clean and definitely big for 2people, towels were changed everyday and the soap was inclused. The Staff is kind, we have had... More

This hotel is in a great location, just off the main road through Saint Petersburg. There is no need to use the metro to get around the city as everything is within walking distance. Clean room and friendly staff. Don't get excited about breakfast, it's basic.

The hotel concentrates on what is important- the room was spacious and pleasant, and the hotel does not suffer from any external noise. Everything was pleasant, clean and well-run. I would certainly stay here again. The run-down exterior that people comment on is really not a problem once the hotel becomes familiar; it almost makes it feel more like a... More

The entrance is scaring. If I was traveling with a girl, I would turn around at the exact moment I arrived. The door is a massive piece of metal and to find the hotel is not so easy, since are other doors with the same adress. The impression is that you are entering in a bunker and if something happen... The hotel is in a good location and isnt bad at all but my experience was ruined by the staff. I stayed there for 3 nights. On the last night I went to a near by bar. I stupidly tried to keep up with a group of Russian people at drinking. This was a terrible mistake. As you will imagine,... More

As others have said, don't be put off by the outside of Maribelle Hotel. We found our large, clean bedroom and bath to be very comfortable, the best sleep we'd had in a while. The staff was helpful and their English was better than my Russian. Breakfast was the usual cold cuts, granola, bread, tea, cucumbers, fruit, etc.--filling and a... More

Very good surprise. Don't be afraid of the external look (from the street). Push the doors and you will be nicely welcomed in a tiny corridor. The bedrooms are the best places in the building.

The Maribelle mini-hotel is extremely well located! The rooms are clean, large and well equipped (including WiFi). The buffet breakfast is good. Communication with staff is somewhat difficult. You can find nice coffeehouses/restaurants nearby where they have menus in English and service is excellent. Staying at Maribelle is a surprising but interesting experience: The hotel occupies 3 floors within a... More
