It was easier to find than I thought it would be based on other reviews I had read and it really was just around the corner from the Winter Palace. We were greeted by Tatiana who was lovely, she couldn't do enough for us, very helpful and great spoken English. The rooms are basic but have what you need. Breakfast... More

The biggest challenge for Nevsky Prospect 3 is finding it. All you have is a tiny sign by a gate. Even the cab drivers do not know where it is. Suggest letting the B&B arrange an airport or train pickup to avoid any problems. The location is in the courtyard of a 200+ year old building through an entrance that... More

This St. Petersburg Guesthouse was perfect for our needs, budget and location. It's a quiet place tucked in back of Nevsky Prospect (this is where you want to be!). Yuliana and Tatiana were so kind and welcoming. Even before we arrived, they were responding to our email inquiries. They give good directions about how to find their Guesthouse. Our room... More

I had googled this place and other contributors had put up photographs so we were well prepared for the location. The place is located on the main street in St Petersburg, but in a courtyard just off the street. The Hemitage and Winter Palace two minutes away. The room size was great. Breakfast was good and there was adequate choice.... More

You can't beat the location of the clean and compact guest house, right t the top of Nevsky Prospect opposite the Hermitage and Admiralty. The rooms are probably bigger than most I have stayed in in London. It's a bit daunting to find but once inside its a snug home. The ladies who run it change daily and its nice... More

family of 3 spent 2 nights at Guest House Nevsky 3 on their first visit to Saint Petersburg. pros: clean room, quiet courtyard, friendly managers, breakfast included, super close to the Winter Palace/restaurants/bank to exchange currency cons: expensive for a simple room (US $200/night), slightly farther away from the center (Gostinyy dvor) so requires lots of walking or metro, managers... We paid $200 US dollars 4 a Very, very small room. While others comment on location, St Petersburg is very spread out. Both women who manage the place were seemingly pleasant but one spoke no English & used a translator for everything & answered yes to things she really did not understand. There are no restaurants close by & most... More

Dear Mrs. Linda Griffin, Thank you for your feedback and comments. We will take your comments on board. It is very unfortunate that you & your partner were the only ones from our many guests who didn't enjoy their stay with us. The guesthouse is completely renovated although the building is a bit old. The managers help us very much and they were very friendly. It is very clean and the location is perfect, close to Hermitage and main churches of the city. I would recomend this guesthouse to everybody.

Inside this 'apartment' is totally modern and renovated, while the approach looks pretty tatty. As we don't know any Russian we had to ask the girls running the place for quite a bit of advice and help. I couldn't fault them they were exceptionally helpful, made phone calls to book a specific restaurant and printed out a map to help... More

Just back from St. Petersburg. Fantastic location. 5 minute walking distance from Hermitage, and 15 mn walk from st. Issak cathedral, metro and buses just cross the road. Located at the beginning of the most famous avenue, full of stores and restaurants. This small guest house with four rooms is very clean quiet location. Very clean cozy rooms, good shower,... More
