Although this hotel is in a prime location of St. Petersburg, I would not recommend it. The $160.00 a night was, to put it bluntly, a rip-off. Good location and that is all. No wifi in my room, damp smell, very noisy, prostitution. Wouldn't stay again. All in all an average place ok for a few days but the noise did get to me and I certainly would stay elsewhere

This time stayed from 5 to 10 February. Central to famous St Petersburg landmarks, just off Nevsky Prospect, 5 minutes walk to the Hermitage. Very friendly staff. Do not be put off by the entrance or ancient lift. Very good value.
