Pros: - friendly staff - free room service breakfast (order the night before from a few choices) - large, clean and comfortable room - small hotel with only 10 rooms, quiet - small kitchen in reception and water cooler - toiletries provided - great location Cons: - the elevator is extremely small - we could not get the wifi in... Some reviews here rip into this property as if comparing it to a European brand property - this is Russia and this is a budget property. If you go in with reasonable expectations this hotel does what it says it will and you won't be disappointed. Be flexible and patient and you won't have a bad experience. So, what should... More

Although this hotel is in a prime location of St. Petersburg, I would not recommend it. The $160.00 a night was, to put it bluntly, a rip-off. Someone took an old building and haphazardly turned parts, but not all, of it into a so called hotel. The elevator barely fits one person, let alone one with luggage. And we saw... More

The hotel was a little difficult to find at first but if you stand right in front of St. Issac's Cathedral with the statue in the square at your back, the street is to your right. Go down about 3 blocks and just past the coffee shop is the buzzer to the hotel. I found my room #1, to be... More

Good location and that is all. No wifi in my room, damp smell, very noisy, prostitution. Wouldn't stay again. All in all an average place ok for a few days but the noise did get to me and I certainly would stay elsewhere

This time stayed from 5 to 10 February. Central to famous St Petersburg landmarks, just off Nevsky Prospect, 5 minutes walk to the Hermitage. Very friendly staff. Do not be put off by the entrance or ancient lift. Very good value.

Exceptional location (just blocks from the Hermitage, about a block off Nevsky Prospekt), very friendly staff, all spoke good English. Rooms were fine. Only negative, we had a shared bathroom and it was not cleaned during our two-day stay....Bathroom shower was a bit moldy but the staff responded to clean it for us immediately. We had none of the "nauseating... More

1. Great location: Winter palace is 5 min. walk, Neskii prospekt and St.Issac cathedral is around the corner. 2. Close to subway (metro) station and two trolleys (##5,22) are stopping just in front of hotel. 3. The hotel doesn't have any street sign, so take a look at the hotel street picture, approach the single door and find the buzzer... More

This mini-hotel is exactly that: do not expect a grand foyer and 100+ rooms. This place is small, located on the fifth floor of an unassuming building. It has less than 10 rooms. You can easily miss it. But don't -- this place is perfect for anyone looking to spend some time sight-seeing in St Petersburg. Conveniently located right next... More

We reserved two family rooms and were apalled to know that this hotel is just rooms that someone bought in an old building and threw in a bed, a futon and a dresser! The building has a weird smell, and the odor of sewage in the bathroom was nauseating. The maid scrubbed the bathroom with bleach the day before we... More
